    OAT sensor

I just searched oat to ADAHRS & found this from Dynon "The EDC-D10A OAT is not identical to the SV-OAT-340, but it can be made to work. Because of the connector on the SV-OAT-340 that connects to the ADAHRS, you'll have to scavenge the plug / pins / wire to make the connection. On the...

Skyview EMS and IO-540 P-Lead Resistors

lolachampcar FWIW - I've done more than 20 Dynon installations with Lycoming engines & never had to change the resistor value from the supplied standard 30KoHm. My guess the issues are to do with the magnetos, a bench test of them with a 'scope' at cruise rpm may help identify the fault...

    Pitch servo pushrod safety wire

Steve You don't need to if using a nylock nut ;) I never use a drilled head bolt, no need to & lockwiring is not practical. ;) Jake J

    RADIO NOISE

Bruno It's now time for you to get a 'professional' to assist.  I'm feeling that with all the questions & answers so far that the issues you have will not be easily sorted out on a forum. If I lived over there I'd come over & help out but that's not possible & fixing the gremlins you have...

    EGT Sensor Problem

You've probably checked but look at the (removed) connector on the EMS module, the pins will move in & out with when flexing the bundle of wires. Sometimes 1 or 2 will stay partly retracted resulting in the same type of symptoms - just saying ;) Jake J

    Approach "Not recieving Transponder recycle..."

I've seen a similar sort of problem so bear with me for asking these questions  - What sort of coax are you using ?  Is the centre conductor multi stranded ? Do you have crimp fittings on the coax or screw type ? Did you do a continuity check from pin to pin on the coax while flexing the...

    EMS spikes etc

The joys of troubleshooting  :-? - mechancal breaks are easy to fix but those nasty invisible electron critters are an entirely different ball game, what works in one situation can be totally different even if you change things slightly. For example - I wired 2 RV7's with identical electrical...

RV6-KPTW "(15 hours or more since upgrade to latest software) since install of new panel, " In your case then I'd suggest that after 15 hours it is not software related, more likely to do with the install of new panel.  What airframe type do you have ? Jake J

    Strange Noise in Headsets

Won What I'd do first to eliminate causes is 1. unplug both headsets and use only one then try another one - who knows it could be one bad mic? 2. Turn everything else off except radio & SV's, PM3000 too as it should default to com 1.  3. Go fly, then turn on avionics one at a time to see if...

    v3.3 audio

Got my explanation twisted - it should have read as " Shielded, 2 or 3 core as the case may be, audio wire should generally only be grounded at the Audio Mixer end"  :) An example of this can be found here on page 10  http://www.ps-engineering.com/docs/PM3000_IM.pdf Jake J
