Suggest you go the one wire serial method which would have been much easier to wire up and less chance of faults rather than the multiwire converter method. However I've not heard of a problem with the converter - suggest you check the wiring carefully if not done so already ;) Jake J

You already suspect it to be an issue - move it, just to be sure ;D However if you're using low loss coax (eg RG400) it shouldn't be a problem as the antenna is on the outside so the skin will act as a shield. Jake J ;)

You can use a Gps engine as distinct from just an antenna eg the 'old' Garmin 35 should work. Correct, Dynon ? Jake J

I think it's 6 PPR - try it and see ;) or change it to another setting, you can do this while the engine is running. BTW - if there are unstable rpm fluctuations I'd use an 100k oHm resistor. Jake J

That's what I do - then you will know if the engine pump is losing pressure and also when the electric pump is turned on you will see the pressure increase confirming it works too. Jake J
