    D180 blowing 2 amp fuse

It only happens when the DB37 misc sensor connector is plugged in. There is the clue - check to see that you don't have pin 1 & 2 connected to anything, if that doesn't 'fix' it then check any other 'power' (& ground) wiring. Jake J

    Blinking Screen on D-100

Hi Ralph 1. 'Spiking', ie voltage drop on starting, is not an issue 2. Usually a good idea to load the latest - unless of course there are unknown bugs ;) BTW, if you have a D180 I'd add the backup battery - that way the EMS is always ON when starting. Jake J

    PTT & Menu appears

I'm having similar issues on a composite airplane. Com 1 PTT = D120 alarms, EGT/CHT shows -99C.  System recovers and all parameters read correctly after settling down in flight. Some radio frequencies worse than others. Com 2 PTT = no issues. Swapped antennas (all coax is RG400 low loss) -...

    Erratic Engine Temp

Generally these are rock solid but this one may be didfferent, I've done many installs on the Jabby's but had no issues with any of the sensors :D You could remove the sensor, put it in a container of oil and extend the wire, then observe readings while heating it up. Then wriggle the wire at...

Unable to conclude satisfactory AP test JABIRU 430

Re: Unable to conclude satisfactory AP test JABIRU BGK AS John said 'it's a generalization' however you can improve the system by backing off the trim spring tension (not too much as you may lose trim effect) and lubricate (I use silicone grease) the aft end of the elevator cable under the...
