    Mapping a box

During my Phase 1, I used SkyVector to create a flight plan on the computer, exported it to email and pulled it into ForeFlight, which I then imported into Skyview. Probably just as easy to build the route in ForeFlight, though. While flying the route, I tuned the autopilot.

    Local time on the display

I work with software and this would be extremely difficult, if not impossible to implement and likely expensive to maintain. When the DST date changed back in 2007, we had to spend months and piles of money to deal with the change and piles more to deal historical (archived) data. Zulu time...

    UK IFR crtification

I think the follow part of the statement you posted would not allow the D2 or any other Dynon manufactured instrument for the purpose you propose. "shall be made by a different manufacturer"

    RPM reads low

How is the tach signal being picked up from the mags? Not sure about the 180 but the Skyview will use the first tach signal it gets. If that goes away, it will use the other. It is possible you've always been getting the same mag signal (e.g. left) and now getting it from the other.

    ADS-B IN traffic

Keep in mind that airplanes that do not have ADS-B out will not reliably show on your screen. Your plane with OUT will trigger a broadcast from the ground station but it will only include aircraft within a certain distance from you. Sounds like the Cirrus should have shown for you, though. Did...

    ADSB 472

Be patient Alex. No update here means they have no update to provide. I work on these types of problems on a daily basis and they can take a long time to solve. First step is to reliably reproduce the problem so there can be confidence in the solution.

ADAHRS fine on the ground, but goes out in the air

Also check for moving seat belt cables, which run near the AD-AHRS. I keep mine strapped down all the time so the cable remains in the same place.

    Compass Calibration

I did the calibration during the first flight in the air. Worked fine.

    Data base updates

You should be able to perform the update on the main battery. The backup battery will not charge until at least 12.25 volts is seen within the SV screen (install manual, page 9-4). Ground power, in your case, is an external charger on the main battery. Many chargers cannot power everything on...

Fuel Pressure with Engine/fuel Pump Off

Check the EMS sensor page for the reading from the sensor (voltage?). I suspect the sensor is sending an erroneous value, which SV is translating to 3 PSI. Also confirm the correct sensor is configured in the EMS setup. Dynon stopped using the older style sensors due to these types of issues...

Confirm your RS232 wires are TX > RX and RX > TX on the same COM port.

    Dynon Comm Push-to-Talk?

This information IS documented in the installation manual. I did not purchase this harness from Dynon. It is easy enough to make.

    removing pins from D Sub?

You'll find the green plastic tools, like the ones Dynon supplies, work on standard D-Sub pins that Dynon uses. If you want a tool that lasts longer, get the metal one but it will be Red/White. An even better tool, if you do a lot of this work, comes from Daniels Manufacturing Company (DMC)...

    Skyview/Foreflight/Garmin Flight Stream 210

You should have no problem connecting to both since they use different connectivity. Bluetooth has the advantage over WiFi in this case since it allows multiple connections to different devices.

Mutual documentation of the undocumented yaw servo

It really depends on the airframe, IMO, and how fast the servo must react to adverse yaw. I'd expect it to work great in an RV with little adverse yaw but maybe not in a Luscombe, which requires roll and yaw at the same time to avoid it. Hopefully the official response will come soon from...

    No Voltage Indication

Pin 1 on the EMS D37 connector goes to a your main bus. It should be protected by a fuse or breaker, of course.

    My ADS-B antenna fell out

You can use the ACS transponder antenna as an ADS-B antenna as well. Also check out Delta Pop antennas. A little pricier but more aerodynamic. A round antenna is about as draggy as it gets.

    Autopilot IAS question

Gil, You may have to do some AP tuning before it will hold IAS or any other setting.

Mutual documentation of the undocumented yaw servo

I don't believe the yaw damper in any plane is intended to deal with adverse yaw, though you might get it to work in some planes, with a lot of tweaking, where it is not so pronounced. Beyond that, I'd suspect either a connector pin is not well seated or your theory that the wire run is such...

    'Autopilot disconnect broken'

Not a "fix" for the issue but rather than installing the resistor and wiring for the AP disable button, I installed a switch that cuts power to the servos - primarily for a servo gone out of control. The Dynon manual shows a switch or breaker for this purpose (not listed as optional).
