Show track of where I’ve flown

ForeFlight and other phone apps can provide your GPS trail and the following converters can help with the file type request. GPX to KML: https://gpx2kml.com/ KML to GPX: https://kml2gpx.com/

    ADSB 472

Airguy, My understanding is that weather is sent (broadcast) with each update. No need for you to trigger the send. Traffic information, on the other hand, requires ADS-B out ground reception from your transponder.

    AP Panel Trim Problems

Johan, Make sure you do not have other trim relays in your system. The SV-AP-Panel provides for trim relay.

    autopilot error

I can't answer your question about the error but... There are some good Dynon videos on the Skyview system. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjU8CSiBHFbbhvWhj5uAMh2fDk9TWjoQS The AP Button panel allows for auto-trim, along with other nice features, which may not working unless in...

Heated Pitot In Carbon Fiber Wing

Use a .060" plate of aluminum with nut plates installed. Embed that in fiberglass/resin.

Share OAT between EDC-D10A and ADAHRS-200

Wouldn't you want each systems to have its own OAT for redundancy?

    Capacitance Fuel Sender

Vans no longer sells the capacitance senders. A member on the VAF forum is in the process of making some, though. Changing them in a completed tank would not be an easy task. http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showpost.php?p=1193152&postcount=7

    installing second HDX screen

Joe, When I added a second Skyview Touch (not HDX), the second screen picked up all the configuration from the first screen. I think you need to have the network cable (any standard CAT5/RJ-45 will do) between them for this to work but not sure. I know it is need to avoid having to install map...

    Altitude hold...

I'm not sure it is related to your problem but in Expert mode, when you change the ALT bug, you then have to tell the AP to go there via the up or down button. Subsequent pushes will increase or decrease the rate of descent or climb.

Routing Coax For Sv83 and Transponder.

I'll echo what Jake and N214ST said except that RG142 is solid core (not familiar with the 'a' format), which I find easier to terminate when using TNC connectors. RG400 will work but you have to be very careful when installing the pin. It is a very tight fit and some strands may need careful...

Clicking noise when monitoring two frequencies.

That clicking is by design so you know that the alternate frequency is receiving a transmission. It is a bit annoying when listening to ATIS when it is constantly transmitting.

    ADSB 472

Here is a link to the current status provided by Dynon. I see no need for them to post "no change" every week. http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1498669414/54#54

    GPS 2020 mounting location

I have seen the GPS antennas (one Dynon, one Garmin) installed under the fiberglass cowling with no issues. I have the GPS-250 and 2020 installed on the glare shield in my -7A slider. The reflection off the windshield is a problem I have yet to solve in a visually appealing way. Right now I...

    Altimeter discrepancy on Skyview

I'd suspect some water was in the line to the AD-AHRS that eventually evaporated. Your alternate static source likely feeds into the same line going to the unit in the tail so it would not make a difference.

    Background Tone (noise)

How are your screens ground compared to your audio equipment? My screens use the common ground point at the firewall while the audio equipment has an intermediate ground that then ties into the firewall with an 18g wire. This keeps the ground differential between all the audio equipment the...

    Skyview failure.

The autopilot panel and servos plug into the Skyview network so they would not be affected. The transponder must be connected to the same serial port on both screens to function if one screen goes down. For instance, if connected to only the left screen and it is powered off, you would have no...

    Sending Flight Plans to Skyview.

If you go into setup while waiting, what IP address is associated with each dongle? You'll have to check both screens. The IPs should be different. If they are the same, you will have issues.

    Mapping a box

I stand at a computer (versus sitting) all day and find it much easier to plan a route via online tools than to try and figure out the best route on the Skyview (distance, fuel burn, etc). Importing to Skyview is very easy with the WiFi dongles on each screen.
