    HDX HDX Display Problem

Thanks for the reply, Dynon. I did as you suggest and no change. The display shuts down as I first described above. I’ll send you the display and you can test it for me. Regards, Mike Malone

    HDX HDX Display Problem

Thanks for the reply. That's possible, but how do I update the software when the display turns off before I am able to do this?

    HDX HDX Display Problem

I have installed 2 Skyview HDX displays. Aircraft not yet flying. I had successfully installed the displays and other Dynon products, including EMS 220, ADAHRS 200/201, Autopilot Servos/Panel, XPNDR 261, COM-X83 and Knob Panel. After some time since all the electrical installation work, I...

    Vans Stall Warner

Thanks Jake. I do have the Dynon AOA probe, but since I cut the hole in the leading edge some years ago, I just wanted to finish the job. Belt and braces or OCD - not entirely sure. [ch128514] A 10K, 10 turn pot seems the likely solution as described by some helpful people on the Van’s Facebook...

    Vans Stall Warner

This is a copy of a post I submitted on the Vans Aircraft Facebook site; “I’m fitting the Vans stall-warner to my RV-7, since I already cut the hole in the leading edge some years ago. The tone through the Dynon Intercom-2S is too loud in the headphones. I have the Dynon Skyview system fitted...

    Starter Annunciation

I have a VPX installed. The VPX manual says that if I connect its Pin J2-11 to the starter solenoid an indication of the starter being engaged ("STARTER") appears on the EFIS. Does this apply to the Dynon EFIS? Thanks.

    Tosten Grip Wiring

I have Tosten Grips for Pilot and Copilot.  There are various functions on the grips including a 4-way trim switch, PTT, Frequency Flip-Flop, Flaps Up/Down and AP Disconnect.  However, there is only one common ground wire for each grip.  According to the SV-Intercom-2S Installation Manual, when...

    Intercom - No MIC

I've managed to somehow fix this problem. I think it all came down to the Squelch level, although I did remove some pins and re-insert them. I think I had set the Squelch level set too high. Only problem now is that I now don't hear the "Dynon Skyview" announcement when I switch the battery...

    Intercom - No MIC

After further trouble shooting on this problem I can add the following: While messing around with the connections to the MIC Jacks I noticed that when the push-on contacter, which is normally attached to the "Barrel" (Ground) also accidentally made contact with the "Tip" (Pilot MIC PTT), I...

    Intercom - No MIC

Hi Dynon. Do you have a telephone number. I’m in the UK.

    Intercom - No MIC

I am in the process of installing and wiring the Intercom-2S.  Headphones appear to be working OK (I can hear the Dynon welcome message), but I can't hear myself on intercom when I talk through my Bose-A20 headsets, both on the pilot side and the co-pilot side.  I have two headsets, same problem...

Could it be because I haven't attached the aerial yet?

    EFIS COM Information

I'm presently installing my 2 x HXD 1100 displays, T8 Radio, Intercom-2S, Radio Panel and GPS.  I can't seem to be able to select COM Radio from the MENU Button 6.  When I select MENU, I can see Transponder, Timer, PFD Tools, Engine Tools, Map Layer, User Waypoints, Map Setup and Maintenance...

Can Only Power Up 1 of 2 EFIS Screens

I am installing 2 x HDX1100 Displays.  The first time I powered up the system from the aircraft Battery via a VPX Sport, only the left screen powers up.  Both displays power up when my one Dynon standby battery is connected to the dead display.  Further trouble shooting shows that the opposite...
