The data is kind of scattered between the certified and “general” installation and user’s guides. Unfortunately you need to reference all of them for installation and initial setup.
The skyview cannot display DME. The distance is a GPS based figure based on the decoded NAV identification (to determine the DME station being referenced) and GPS database of the SV. If you are keeping the KN64, that is the only place to display DME.

The implication was it will display GPS derived “pseudo-DME” without actual DME equipment and based on the NAV frequency tuned in your radio, which it will, but that feature has to be disabled in certified installations.

Understood, however the question was about the “virtual DME” on the Dynon PFD.
According to the Dynon manuals, that feature must be disabled on certified installations.
Dynon’s lack of an in-house trim system has been an issue. For instance; my plane has a KFC200 autopilot. The electric trim is part of that system. You cannot legally take just the autopilot out and leave the trim in. (Well, maybe a field approval, but good luck with that…)

Probably not an issue as you posted a while ago, but on CERTIFIED installations the Dynon manual states that function needs to be disabled (Unless they recently changed something)
Just because the “can” capture from above doesn’t mean one “should.”
Many transport category will NOT, and in general you should not attempt to to capture from above. Your autopilot may even restrict (or at least instruct you not to) you from it. Even if they will, there is no guarantee it will...
Interesting, revision K is the one listed on the AML for all certified aircraft, but the “newest” is P, which specifically changed the autotrim note to refer you to the AML, which just says “optional”
This leaves one with an autopilot like a KFC### in quite a quandary: the trim and autopilot...
Where are you finding that information? I have found zero reference in the Dynon documentation about this.
Dynon REALLY needs to fix this. They NEED their own trim solution. This is crippling installations in 99% of Beech an I’m sure many other models.
Not sure if they are included, but the Airmate HDX manual says to click “menu” then “map layer” and select the appropriate layer (sectional, WAC, low, high, etc). I’d guess this is where you would access TACs if available.
I’m looking for any pictures of the installed pitch/yaw/trim servo installation in an A36 or BE58 with a Dynon autopilot that retained the King trim servo.
There appears to be interference between the brackets required for the trim and Dynon pitch/yaw assembly.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
You could disconnect the SV-MAG and see if the ADAHRS internal works better. Just note: if you disconnect you have to go through the component discovery process in the setup menu so it knows not to look for it, or it won’t enable the other magnetometer.

The ADAHRS has the same magnetic issues if it is used for heading info. It must be free of magnetic interference. Steel structure or hardware nearby is an issue.
You might have to move the ADAHRS or install an SV-MAG in a remote location.
Again, test all of the installation...
What is the accuracy indicating (%) in the in-flight calibration menu?
How are you doing the ground calibration? Engine running? Calibrated compass rose? What is the heading indicating when you line-up on the runway? Anywhere close to the actual runway heading?
And: how is the magnetometer...
