    SV-AP-PANEL wiring question

I am installing the trim wiring for my skyview A/P panel and have a question. My current configuration has both pilot and Co-Pilot trim switches on the sticks. These are directly connected to power and the motors. Is it permissible and prudent to leave the co-pilot switch connected as is...

ADS-B In Offline (for just a moment)

I would like Dynon confirm these are nuisance warnings and fix is in work.  This problem just started since upgrading to 12.2. I would like to add that I do not believe the ADS-B service deserves a "Caution" audio warning either. Maybe a "Message" but I would reserve "Cautions", and "Warnings"...

ADS-B In Offline (for just a moment)

I flew about 10 hours over the 4th holiday and experienced about 5 or 6 incidents of "Caution" ADS-B offline.  The ADS-B status line shows "Offline" (or wording like that). These all happened in flight with good GPS coverage.  I too am flying with SV touch at 12.2.  My GNS-430 is the primary GPS...

    Multiple failed start ups

I too have had a failed start-up on my SV 1000T. I had just loaded the new map databases and exited the setup menu. The system appeared to be normal then the screen filled with a rainbow of colors and rebooted itself. Could not repeat the problem with a restart. I am running 12.2 on a 1000T...

    EGT Probe Installation

I remember from my Electronics Intl. probes you want the probes to fit loosely in the holes. They must be able to move a little or they may break.

    TAS Now Reading WAY Low

TAS needs Indicated Air Speed, Temperature, and Pressure altitude.  Is the IAS also ~20 kts low?  Look at these to determine the root cause. Static leaks can usually be proven by opening / closing air vents when in flight. If you see a change in altitude when opening or closing an air vent...

    SA Data Manager

I have had issues in the past with the SA Data Manager. I fixed the problems by: **Open task manager and kill all Data manager tasks. Check in the "Processes" tab and kill those tasks also. Re-booting computer does not kill these processes. You must kill them in task manager. **Un-check...

I got word last night from Savvy they had disk space issue. They have corrected and the files will load now. The "off by one day" is still there.

    Wind vectors differ with heading

I see the same thing in my Glasair. I also performed the in-flight compass calibration with >108 numbers on both ADHARS. I was thinking I had an error in my static system which was causing a slight decrease in altitude and airspeed so I performed a airspeed check by using an excel program...

Uploading SV User Data to SavvyAnalysis SV ver12.0

I looked at a Alarm data file from 11.1 and compared it to 12.0. The only difference I noticed was the data under "Session Time" column A. I noticed the time repeats on several occasions. It looks like Savvy uses this to parse out the data. The Session Time is used on all User Data files...

Uploading SV User Data to SavvyAnalysis SV ver12.0

Looks like in my case any Version 12 data upload to Savvy Analysis fails. The error log says "Parse Log" Missing flight file. I submitted a email to Savvy.

Uploading SV User Data to SavvyAnalysis SV ver12.0

After looking at the User files and Blackbox data with Excel I noticed it did not record todays flight? It recorded the date as 2/14/2015. The GPS date is off by 1 day. This was also reported on a Version 12 crash post.

Uploading SV User Data to SavvyAnalysis SV ver12.0

Anyone tried to upload User or Black Box data to SavvyAnalysis since Version 12? I get status that says "Uploaded. Processing..." Never goes past this point. I did not clear user data when I updated so I probably contains SV v11.1 and v12.0 data.

    Approach plates

Mataylor, if you have the GNS 430 wired correctly when you tap the PROC button on the GNS 430 and select then load an approach all the applicable waypoints will be transfered to SV. You need to make sure the GNS430 is selected as the Flight plan source in SV.

    SV 12.0 upgrade

Today I check the Transponder Settings and confirmed it is in "AUTO AIR/GND"  I also confirmed that once the IFR GPS (GNS 430W) has acquired satellites and is ready to navigate the xponder status goes to "GND".  I flew with version 12.0 and otherwise works fine.  It automatically goes to "ALT"...

    SV 12.0 upgrade

It was programed to the Automatic air mode. I did not re-check it since the upgrade. I did not connect my squat (WoW) switch to Skyview.

    SV 12.0 upgrade

I upgraded my SV to version 12.0 and noticed the SV-XPNDR no longer has a GND mode. With the xpondr in AUTO it statuses on top of screen as ALT mode all the time. I have not flown with this software yet but just wondering if this is expected. I was in the hanger not in motion, the GNS-430W...
