The HS34 must have its own DB9 serial connector in order to update the software. The instructions for installing version 4.0 clearly state, "The RS232-RX, RS232-TX, and one of the GND wires must be connected to a standard PC or laptop comm port". The HS34 pinout listed in the WIKI list Pin 1...
