    SV-XPNDR-261 Mode C (ALT), and ADS-B

I have the exact same antenna in my airplane and it has worked flawless since 2012. Is your entire airplane fiberglass? If so this is probably not the problem since fiberglass is "invisible" to RF radiation. If it is mostly metal with some fiberglass parts, then it can be an issue depending on...

    Loss of GPS during flight

Yup. Here in NE Florida this happens once in a while. We are very close to big Navy facilities and they do operations off our shores. Most of the times the NOTAM comes out well in advance, but not always. I was at the airport (KSGJ) one day when it was hard IMC and three different airplanes...

Dynon Transponders and ADS-B in Canada

FWIW: 1090MHz is, and has been, the only ADS-B standard outside the US since being adopted by ICAO in 2003. It became operational in 2006 with ICAO making it the official standard in 2013. The US delayed the mandatory ADS-B requirements until 2020. The US currently is the only nation in the...

Dynon Transponders and ADS-B in Canada

It uses one omnidirectional antenna. With omnidirectional antennas, except for metal blocking, the mounting method is irrelevant.

Dynon Transponders and ADS-B in Canada

True but look at the tailBeaconX system which only uses one antenna. Modern transponder antennas are omnidirectional so when installed on a metal airplane, where the signal is blocked in one direction, two are needed . Now if you have a fiberglass or cloth airplane then the signal is not blocked...

ADS-B traffic on iPad via Skyview WiFi

If you are running v15 then this patch is not the issue. This problem has not been talked about on this forum with v15 (Experimental or certified) so it might be a setting on your iPad or the app as Rhino posted. Contact whatever app you are using (ForeFlight, FltPlanGo, etc) and see what they say.

ADS-B traffic on iPad via Skyview WiFi

If you are running SkyView software version 16.0.4, then you might need to install this patch. You can download the patch at: https://forum.flydynon.com/threads/software-update-16-0-4-and-lost-ads-b-472-data-processing.13922/ Look for post #8. It is SUPER easy and quick to apply.

Necessary Conditions to get ILS Glide Slope indicator to appear

Have you ever gotten a glideslope indication on your display? You have to rule out a compatibility or configuration issues before doing more troubleshooting.

FAA Letter that my ADS-B Out fails to comply

FWIW; If you don't already have an ADSB compatible GPS you could just add the GPS-2020 and keep the GPS-250 as a backup GPS source. It would take some minor configuration changes on the DYNON system but completely doable. ;)

    Dynon SV-ADSB-472

That is EXACTLY what I said: "You can NOT use the SV-250 as the GPS source for ADSB OUT. For that you must use the SV-2020 or another ADSB compliant GPS." ;) In your particular case you don't have limited ADSB data IN because you have a compliant ADSB OUT (GTN-650) driving a transponder...

    Dynon SV-ADSB-472

The ADSB-472 is an ADSB IN device so you can use the SV250 to receive limited ADSB data. You can NOT use the SV-250 as the GPS source for ADSB OUT. For that you must use the SV-2020 or another ADSB compliant GPS.

    calibrating IAS

As Carl Froehlich said; "Assume the analog is wrong until proven otherwise. Most are off, brand new out of the box." FWIW; I went through this same issue several years ago and can say Do not rely on plain GPS speeds for these numbers. You can't establish where the error is until you do a 3 leg...

    Repackaging SV Panels

Not having to cut an existing instrument panel is how DYNON, with the D10 line, started out. ;)

    Calibrating the AoA System

FWIW My airplane only has two flap settings, 12 & 24 degrees. I calibrated my AOA at 1/2 flaps (12 degrees), set my audible tone to start beeping at the yellow zone and go solid at the red zone. I always land with full flaps so I use the tones to tell me how much to pull back on the stick. I...

Dynon Skyview in a Cessna 150

Great! I recommend you contact DYNON with what you want to accomplish and they will provide the best way to move forward. A lot will depend on what existing equipment you want to keep and how much $$$ you are willing to spend. As for your question: "Is it possible for the Skyview to interface...

Dynon Skyview in a Cessna 150

Before you use any "information" from this forum, verify with the Civil Aviation Authority in Argentina to see what their requirements and limitations are. I highly doubt anybody on this forum can answer, with certainty, what is or isn't allowed by the Argentina Civil Aviation Authority. US...

    fuel flow parameter red cube

You set the number within the setup section: SETUP MENU > HARDWARE CALIBRATION > EMS CALIBRATION > FUEL FLOW CALIBRATION. FWIW My Redcube uses a factor of 66,200 with my Lycoming O360 which seems to be most accurate. What have others found that works best on their Redcube installation?

    GPS not found

Hmmmmm. Then the only other thing I can imagine is that for some reason your system is dumping the GPS "almanac" data. That takes about 10-15min to refresh each time from the satellites. This happens to portable GPS's when their battery is no good so the data is lost. I don't know how the DYNON...
