This would be great if you get it going. It should allow sharing traffic with Avidyne IFD series as well if capstone format

    D10A backup not showing heading

But, unfortunately the remote compass is not approved as part of the installation for the certified STC. Neither the D10A or the newer D30 have heading information in certified installs.

Dynon Dimmer Configuration with Avidyne IFD 540

The IFD dimmer setup is / can be quite complicated. Suggest this as a starting point: https://pilotsupport.avidyne.com/kb/article/99-ifd-dimming-setup-tutorial/

    SV Classic Mounting

Before the trays you were on your own as to where to mount accessories. On both of the planes I built I just attached the screens to the panel with nutplates appropriately placed. I fabricated an "avionics tray" to mount things like the EMS, battery, ADSB etc.... pretty much the same...

    SV Classic Mounting

The classic displays have 6 mounting screws rather than the 4 in the HDX. They are also in different locations and the mounting cutout for the display is about 1/2" or so taller. I think it would certainly be possible to modify the mounting tray to accommodate a classic. It would take some...

Engine, EGT and CHT Sensor compatibility with SV-EMS-220 variants

You can setup the EMS for K type thermocouples for CHT. One reason not to change to the Dynon probes is that although they are inexpensive, they are IMHO a lesser quality product than some of the other probes on the market.

    Mag heading on D-10A

You can use the menus to turn it on on the D10A. You can even do a compass cal - quite a bit more complicated than the Skyview systems. It likely won't be very accurate / useful without the remote magnetometer which is not approved for the certified system.

    New Airmate aviation data

Absolutely! SA is non-responsive.... Airmate responds quite quickly and is obviously trying to make the product better. Good signs.

    New Airmate aviation data

Well I gave it a try. My review for US customers is don't waste your money. The process is as buggy and painful as SA. First, checkout cart didn't work - email. Then after paying - nothing - another email. Send N number & dynon S/N and received confirmation. Airmate data manager seems...

    Replacement Oil Pressure Sensor

Agree wiring connection, either on the sense line or you could have a poor ground. Make sure your engine is grounded well to airframe. In addition you can terminate one of the EMS harness ground wires to a convenient ground location on engine.

    Adding SV700

As mentioned previously, any serial devices will need to be spliced. GPS 250 or 2020 is on Serial port 5. Other common serial devices are ADSB 470/472 and Transponder.

Dynon SV-COM-X25 RADIO MODULE for sale 400 USD

It looks like that is the SV-COM425 which is the older radio produced by Dynon. The SV-COMX25 replaced it and is manufactured by Trig for Dynon and is a superb radio. The original 425 reportedly had some issues although I have one in an RV4 and it has functioned very well.

External LEVEL vs AP panel LEVEL button?

Good point! I didn't know the Level button on the AP panel wasn't active in simplified mode - I haven't used simplified mode in quite a while. It seems like Level should ALWAYS be active as a safety measure.
