The major features:

1) Autopilot performance enhancements. We continue to be committed to fielding the best autopilot possible.
2) Improved SkyView Network Redundancy, with detection and annunciation of wiring or electrical problems, and in-flight failover to a backup network (that you've already wired if you have a SkyView system)
3) Rotax 912 iS support (via an SV-EMS-221 module that includes CAN bus)
4) Multiple ADAHRS cross-checking and annunciation when they don't agree, with a neat UI to display both ADAHRS' instruments side by side
5) Basemap! Roads, rivers, cities, etc. Free! Worldwide coverage!
6) Enhanced airspace depiction. Better colors. Dashes. Customizable colors.
7) Automatic text decluttering of map items for vastly improved legibility.

No weather? What happened to the virtual vor? Vnav? Guys, just wishing for more. I'm really enjoying flying with my skyview and can't help wanting more. Keep up the good work.

Now there are at least 6 more reasons to purchase a Skyview (7 for the 912is users) :)

Could we have an approximative release date, month?

You are doing a really good job on the Skyview system !

Hello Support

Any idea when we can expect this new update??

Can't wait to try a fully coupled ILS with this puppy.

Thanks for your hard work.

Bruno

The very next one (detailed above) should hit around Oshkosh, pending our testing process.

The transponder firmware update is still at least a release away. We don't have a precise date on that yet, though. If you have an ACTUAL squat switch on your aircraft, that feature is available already. Non-squat switch detection of aircraft flying state isn't yet available, but should be in the upcoming transponder firmware update.

How about auto-loading frequencies into an SL-30? I remember this was mentioned a while ago but haven't seen any mention of this feature for a long while.

It'll happen once we introduce our comm radio (no announcement yet, still working on it, thanks for your patience). Basically, all comm radio software bits and pieces will happen together.

No date, but there's a bunch of work to do on the ARINC communication in general, and we expect that it will mostly happen together, possibly with advanced autopilot features.
