    Software Update v16

Maybe confirm the knob panel is seen/detected by both screens?

    RF noise

Try grounding the screen(s) directly to the intercom. If that doesn't help, contact Dynon support directly. BTW, I prefer all audio related grounds going to a single point/location that is then grounded to the main aircraft ground.

Have you adjusted the radio and intercom squelch?

    IHDX install problems

Good work. Solder sleeves should only be used for bonding shield grounds to the shield. Others may disagree but I prefer soldering wires, with recommended AeroElectric solder and flux.

Trim with SV-AP-PANEL vs VP-X sanity check

I don't have a VP-X in my system but would install a power-kill or pitch trim reversing switch, if/when I re-build my panel for IFR. The AP Panel will stop trim input after 3 seconds but, IMO, that is too long a period. In flight trim inputs are typically sub-second.

Trim with SV-AP-PANEL vs VP-X sanity check

You might consider a switch that swaps between the two. If the AP Panel fails, it is supposed to allow pass-through trim control but, if that also fails, a flip of the switch would allow control via the VP-X.

    P-Lead 30K ohm resistor location?

The resistor should be between the EMS and switch P-Lead wire, not switch and mag. When you ground the mag, it is no longer sending RPM information (not firing). Also be sure the switch wiring goes to the correct mag.

    Software Update v16

At this point, we'll know when they tell us. Coming from a highly regulated world (both FDA and FAA), document reviews are exhaustive and take a LOT of time - especially with many changes. Good news is that code changes are likely done or they wouldn't be in doc review state.

Trouble with Seattle Avionics DataManager.... again....

Hopefully the new owners are working on a new data manager option.

AP Servo and ARINC-429 dropping off network

The AP servo should remain in the list unless you do a network discovery when it is offline. Sounds like splicing into the network cable was done poorly or incorrectly. Dynon sells a splitter cable that does it well; making one is not easy due to the wire size and pin socket size. MAP feeds into...

    SkyView Console Error

That is a great suggestion, @cbennet12. Remove any USB drive and even the Wifi dongle (it's stopping at network manager). If it boots, upgrade the version ASAP.

Trig TY91 not talking to SV Classic

You have the correct wiring for TX/RX. Suggest you also add a ground wire between the two as a reference (signal ground). You should also consider using shielded wire for the serial connection.

    SkyView Console Error

He'd have to be able to get the system to fully boot, first, unless Dynon has a way to do the update while the system is trying to boot.

    Dual watch cancel?

You'll see the the word Dual disappear, when it goes off.

    SkyView Console Error

You are running a very old version of SV software, though that may not be related. You should contact Dynon support directly for assistance.

    Dual watch cancel?

Same way you enable it. Hold the right button down for a couple seconds.

    Fuel pressure 15 PSI installation

The 50 PSI sensor is fine for measuring 15 PSI. There is no resistor involved.

    USB port usage?

I'm only using 2 of the 3 ports. The hard wired port is mounted to the panel on each side. I keep a USB stick in each (not yet IFR), primarily for screen shot capability. One is pulled each cycle for map updates.

Friend just tell me about fuel flow

Be sure the red cube is installed per instructions (away from the pump). On injected engines, it is usually installed between the fuel servo and flow divider.

Garmin GNC 355 comm integration with Skyview?

ARINC is needed to feed Skyview GPS info from the Garmin box for IFR approaches. Not involved in COM data. I seem to recall another thread where Dynon said they don't talk to the new radios for frequency select, likely because it is now a Garmin protocol. The SL-30 and protocol came from the...
