Generic vs Expensive Dynon Video Adapter?

I don't know for sure but the driver inside the Dynon EFIS may not be compatible (think Linux vs Windows). No harm in trying one and returning it if it doesn't work.

Traffic info to ForeFlight and other ADSB-In info

The transponder gives you ADS-B "out." You'll need the ADS-B 470 box for "IN" that will then feed FF. I don't believe TIS-B is sent out to other devices.

Kavlico sensor question... KAV vs Dynon part numbers

Last year Dynon and others began offering a single sensor for both fuel and oil that is less prone to leaking, as some have. It is also more sensitive/accurate. 103757-000 (0-150)

    SV- ADAHRS

I believe the base of the GPS antenna is aluminum. Install with non-ferrous hardware and you should be fine.

GPS 250 vs 2020 if IFR GPS installed

The 2020 GPS would be able to provide a backup signal for ADS-B out if the 175 were to fail or need to go in for repair. For the price difference, I'd do the 2020 for redundancy. I'll be keeping mine after installing an Avidyne 440.

    RF noise

Not exactly. A ground bar/location for all audio related components that is then grounded to the central ground location/battery. No ground loop will occur.

    SV-GPS-2020 mounting under the cowling?

Not painted with metallic paint. Non-metallic is fine.

    SV-GPS-2020 mounting under the cowling?

Mine is mounted on the glare shield inside (RV-7A). I painted it with flat black to keep it from reflecting off the windshield. I'd do the same again.

    Question about compass

If you have an AD-AHRS, you have a magnetic compass. If you have a backup AD-AHRS, you have a backup magnetic compass, as well.

Converting from Steam/gyro to D10a - any actual printed guides?

What Brent said is correct. The D10A is rather old at this point, with limited functionality. You'll need to consider at least a 7" HDX EFIS for AOA, which will also require a primary AD-AHRS, with Pitot/AOA tube, if you want ADS-B OUT, you'll also need the GPS-2020 antenna and the Dynon...

    SV320 Back up battery

You might want to consider the TCW backup battery. It would not be charged by the Dynon EFIS connection (or could it?) but could power most of your critical devices in a single box.

The D10A is long overdue for a replacement, IMO.

    Dynon pitot heat with AOA

The Dynon heated Pitot/AOA has a 3rd wire (power, ground, sense) that will connect to the EMS as a "contact," then configured in each of the three engine monitor views. The AOA tube will connect to the AD-AHRS and requires calibration before it will work.

    Skyview to Foreflight communication

You'll also find the FF traffic alerts (distance, direction) more helpful than Dynon's simple "Traffic" alert, assuming you connect your headset to your iPad via BT.

    IFR GPS Options and Redundancy

If you'll be taking IFR check rides in the plane, some DPEs want to see ILS/VOR approach capabilities, which the Avidyne would provide. The 175 is only a GPS, which will fill the need for those approaches only.
