    Our Advanced Flight Systems AF-5000 systems can send traffic to the Avidyne IFDs via serial port. SkyView has a different serial port architecture which makes this a bit harder, so you'd need both a SkyView SV-ADSB-472 to feed SkyView and a separate device to feed the IFD, currently.

    No, unfortunately not - it's only compatible with SkyView. The Rotas 912 iS is not compatible with the FlightDEK-D180 (or the EMS-D10/EMS-D120).

    It's GPS track, but that can still be oriented magnetic or true (ie, which north is north). And it's aligned to magnetic north.

    You may need slightly more than walking speed. Can you post a picture of what you're seeing? Try taking a drive with it, that may also tell the tale.

    It's definitely slowed down everything a bit, but we're still trucking along. It took us a few weeks to reconfigure to work from home, but we're firing on all cylinders again. v16 is still coming soon, don't have a firm date.

    It works technically, but the general rule of thumb is that if something isn't in the installation manual, you really aren't supposed to do it from a regulatory perspective. And unfortunately, interdevice connectivity isn't covered by the EAA STC.

    The EFIS-D10A is only approved as an attitude indicator in type-certificated aircraft when installed as standalone under EAA's STC. So unfortunately, a second one can not be used as an HSI, as connectivity with other devices isn't approved in that application.

    There isn't a replacement recommendation interval based on age. Their spec'd operating life cycle per the manufacture is "minimum 10 million full pressure cycles over the full range".
