    Bob, Subsequent to our discussion last night - this is a known problem I believe. It appears that the NMEA datastream from the GRT is not correct but I'm sure they will fix it ;)

    I find the safest method is to use a ground wire that terminates in the Dynon connector, you can parallel the one from another sensor if you wish. ;)

    Ryan I had that combination but changed to the PMA 7000 (SL15 was PMA6000) & it all works.  I'd suggest a recheck of the bottom connector if you haven't changed anything else.  Did you combine L & Right channels ?  :) I use masking tape & identify each number & letter due to the pin markings...

    David "An external mechanical oil pressure probe shows a correct pressure"  -- is the mechanical one showing same as Dynon or is it different ? Kavilico  - red wire to 5v, green to pin 6 & black to Dynon ground wire ?  Then go to the Sensor Setup Menu (SETUP MENU > EMS SETUP > SENSOR SETUP)...

    Put the aileron in the neutral position, then have the servo arm at right angles to the movement of the pushrod going to its (aileron) attach point.  ie the servo motor can be rotated to any angle but the servo arm should still be at right angles to the push rod.  Clear as mud ? ;)

    FWIW - I see movement of the VSI & Altimeter at times during the video indicating a static system issue ? as well.  Just a thought, try the test without anything else turned on eg Txpdr & A/Pilot, then do the same test with only the a/pilot turned on - the results could be interesting :-/

    DS - the real issue for us here is that CASA has changed/amended some regs & I feel they unintentially included Instruments & systems requirements for IFR with VFR rules. The battery/battery life issue has never applied to VFR aircraft here beforethe latest rule change - IMO it will be changed ;)
