My reference to levelling the plane using a point on the wing tips is much more valid here AND getting the ADAHRS level is critical IMO, digital levels can get it within .1 of a degree. If access later is difficult then it's even more important to do it when first installing the unit. Dynon...

Yes, I've done just that in the past but if the brown thermocouple wires are long enough I just run them through the firewall & make a single connection to the probes. What is the situation with your plane that needs a dsub ? :) Jake J

Josh You need to contact support directly with serial # of the EMS module, then they can determine if it needs to go back to be 'modified' ;) Jake J

Elmer What I do is level the plane on ground using the same reference point at the wingtip - more accurate & less prone to levelling errors if using say the backrest or fuselage IMO ;) Jake J

Garth I'd remove the disconnect wires from the respective servos & test again, this is a smile job & may find the area where the fault is - worth a try ;) Jake J

With the E-Mag you only need 1x tach wire connected so then you'll have rpm input regardless of which (if) mag may fail, however if you are thinking of a possible wire break then add a wire for the second E-Mag ;) Jake J

Fred My Glasair ( note: fibreglass only & no carbon fibre) has it's Gps antenna ( IFR GX 60) mounted inside since 1998 with no issues, you can safely do the same ;) Jake J

Kenny that wire is a 'switched' ground, you need a 12volt wire from a bus for other side of light ;) Jake J

If you have the Garmin install manual it is explained in Section 4 - basically, with power off, you press & hold down the ENT key, release it when the display activates then change display to I/O CHNL 2 set page & select output to 'plotting' - that is basically it but para 4.1 of the Garmin...
