    ADSB traffic presentation

I would like to have 360 degree traffic awareness/display from the Dynon ADSB to my Dynon MFD. Is this possible? Seems like I can only display traffic within the 9 to 3 "O'clock" sector based on my screen view setting. Would be nice to see traffic overtaking or converging from behind. Thanks...

How do you know the GPS is still working on the map? Are you out of the hangar with good satellite acquisition?

    SFG File Mismatch

Out of the blue with no files recently updated and multiple flights I started to get the "EMS SFG FILE MISMATCH" caution message. Here are the files from the respective USBs from each 7" Classic. Any insight or advice on how to proceed clearing this up and why this might have happened...

Servo swap and "Shoutout" to Dynon

Kudos Dynon!! Recently swapped out my SV32 servo for the SV42 to resolve a pitch slipping issue with my STOL CH750.  It appears that air loads on the elevator are a bit too much for the SV32.  Pulled the servo on a Friday and one week later received and installed the SV42. System software did a...

    USB issues

After software update, same issue with one display...PNY32 USB...and would not recognize any USB that would previously work. After multiple restarts and "in / outs" with USB stick, it finally recognized the PNY32 and allowed chart update. :-? Maybe there is something going on? :-?

    ADSB Performance Report

Thanks Ray, got a call back from Dynon tech rep, confirming that is a known issue and will be resolved with the next software update. I though I had seen that thread you linked...just couldn't come up with it through the search function! Cheers!

    ADSB Performance Report

Just requested/received report yesterday for my system which includes the 261 transponder, 2020 GPS, and 472 with 15.3.3 software and firmware update.  Passed with flying colors and compliance.  I do have a question though... The NACv accuracy values (AVG, MIN and MAX) are each reported as "4"...

Dynon, this is welcome news, thanks for all the efforts! For planning purposes, will the form factor be the same as the current original 472 box and connectors? Cheers!

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

Ray,  that was my plan on the next warmish day in the hangar... continuity and proper pin check!  Just wanted to be sure I wasn't being a bonehead before I started cutting heatshrink!   :'(

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

Airguy, agree!  But, if I switch off power to the pitot heat and controller ("the system") then I thought the state of the wire would indicate loss of power and toggle the contact switch as setup per the SV install instructions.  Otherwise, what cause the sensor to function as a contact switch...

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

Hi Jake, thanks for the reply...what you reference is what I used for my sensor setup and configuration. Is it your understanding that the status line (white wire) should vary in voltage as I toggle my pitot heat? Thanks! Dave

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

HomeBuilt Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure how to ask the question differently to make it more clear.  But as I currently understand things, the Pitot Heat Status Indicator (white wire) configured as a contact switch per the SV install should respond as below when I toggle Pitot Heat switch...

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

OK, gathered a bit more info and testing, but could use some additional insight on how best to troubleshoot this issue.  Pitot heat works as expected i.e.; heats when switched on, and does not heat when switched off, inflight the amp draw increases and decreases as controller cycles Pitot heat...

    Pitot heat to EMS 220

I've got the Dynon heated Pitot/AOA and have configured the Pitot heat status line as a contact type sensor for display on the SV-D700 PFD. I am only seeing 5V on the pin and no variation as I cycle Pitot heat off and on when looking at the sensor debug page. >:( Pitot heat functions as...
