You already suspect it to be an issue - move it, just to be sure ;D However if you're using low loss coax (eg RG400) it shouldn't be a problem as the antenna is on the outside so the skin will act as a shield. Jake J ;)

That's what I do - then you will know if the engine pump is losing pressure and also when the electric pump is turned on you will see the pressure increase confirming it works too. Jake J

Jaba-who What is happening is 'normal' however the amount of 'hunting' can be mitigated by changing the gain setting - applies to most autopilots when using only a serial datastream, not Arinc or GPSS. HTH Jake J OZ

David The 'problem' with the EGT/CHT wires is the inherent stiffness in them - I now (have done many installations) always remove the backshell and force the wires towards the dsub connector - in a way this gives some flexibility in the loom.   To demonstrate what I'm saying is the problem...

I'd check the connections on the CHT - recheck the pins at the 25dsub, that is where some problems emanate from. If you flex the loom while looking at the oins you'll find that they can move in and out sometimes resulting in a poor connection. Also check the coonectors near the probe - the...
