Are you requiring these for the inspection covers only ? If so then there are simple solutions to that ;) BTW - I sometimes use plastic (Nylon?) screws & nuts for mounting the magnetometers. Jake J

Jos Before you do anything I'd check to see if there is power at the servos or at least continuity from the circuit breaker to them, also check the grounds ;) Do you have both servos power lines joined somewhere other than at breaker ? if so I'd check there too :) HTH Jake J

Far away from ferrous metal as possible is good - however I like to keep it at least 1ft from steel control cables and minimum of 18" from motors, small screws & nuts aren't as important but should be considered. You could use brass or stainless screws for the hatches too. HTH Jake J

Bryan The Dynon antenna won't 'run' the GTN but I'd add the Dynon antenna for redundancy & $200 extra shouldn't 'break the bank' ;) Jake J

We certainly can't complain about the service and.......... try & get the 'warranty' that Dynon offers from manufacturers of certified systems - it can be a PITA when things go wrong but good backup eases the pain a bit ;) FWIW - when you have screen boot up issues the first thing I'd do is...

As clearly as Dynon can/will make it, I believe - don't you think that Dynon will be adding features asap ?  No manufacturer wants to drag the chain & let the opposition gain an advantage. They've always been 'up front' IMO & will prioritise updates as necessary. I think we all need a reality...

David FYI - the 'industry' convention, & it's in most install manuals, is to have Arinc wire shielding grounded at both ends. Shieled Audio wiring is grounded at one end ;) Jake J
