    DS John has his EFIS 'locking up' as well - I have since discovered he has an internal battery AND keep alive connected. He will change that and report back the results. Jake J

    I think it's best to remove the wire completely however you could cut it at the coonector if you don't have the removal tool. Pin 2 is keep alive (should be fused close to power source) on both units - Dynon recommendation is to not connect keep alive. Jake J

    FWIW How can we get the message across - ALWAYS get the LATEST VERSION of an Install Manual of any avionics JUST BEFORE you actually do the wiring - DO NOT rely on what is supplied as it may be out of date already. It could save you some time and frustration ;) Jake J

    Steve AS I understand it the warning light feature isn't enabled yet however I'd connect one for later - it is generally used to indicate any 'alarm' conditions but not Pitot warn. Pitot - a separate light can be connected, as per instructions, or use one of the contacts to show it on the EMS...
