    PFD Terrain Brightness on 13.0.3

I just upgraded to 13.0.3. Really don't like this undocumented feature. Please change back to leaving the previously selected layers active on power up.

Fuel pressure transducer circuit latent failure

I have had my Skyview system flying for a couple of years. I recently had a problem with my fuel pressure readings that has plagued me for 2 months. The fuel pressure would read 5 to 5.2 PSI whether there was fuel pressure or not. This was intermittent. This is a particularly onerous failure...

    Dynon/AFS Oshkosh 2015: SV-GPS-2020 and much more!

Dynon, With regards to the SV-GPS-2020, I am wondering what evidence will we have that the GPS, and the SV system including transponder will be accepted by the FAA to meet the requirements of 91.225 and 91.227? Thanks

    OSH announcements?

So Garmin has announced their ADS-B GPS source (GPS20A), for $1300, maybe Dynon could announce that it is compatible with the Dynon transponder/ADS-B out providing us with a comliant solution.

    ADS-B in dual band

Love the ADS-B in functions.  It is just that one looses traffic when low around airports that don't have radar coverage and an ADS-R antenna on site.  Make a variant of the SV-ADSB-470 that is dual band.  Better yet, also make it an upgrade from the existing 978mhz only unit.  Even better yet...

ADS-B receiver is UAT in only

According to the Skyview installation manual it is 978Mhz (UAT) receiver only.

Beware the cables the shoulder harnesses attach to are magnetic. When the shoulder straps arent taught, the cables may be getting close to the ADAHRS

    Radio interference

Also, if you are paralleling audio inputs from multiple devices without isolation, you can get unexpected results as the systems will load each others output. Not good practice in general.

    Message anomaly

I experienced an anomaly with the messages today for the first time. I would get a aural "message" callout and when I checked the message box, there was no message until several seconds later. One message that I recall this happening for was the change tank message.

    Airspeed Annunciation

On the topic of callouts- I do certification work on large airplanes.  The flight crew typically wants the callouts minmized on approach and usually only opt for 500 ft. They have MDA/DH callouts also.  Otherwise in areas with heavy radio traffic, to much is going on aurally and radio calls...

    ADS-B Traffic

In some meetings with our local ATC (Potomac approach), they indicated that they don't typically see primary targets, only transponder equipped aircraft.

    SkyView 11.1 Software Now Available

Thanks, that was exactly the condition, except I wasn't taxiing very fast. I may have had some groundspeed detected by the system though.

    SkyView 11.1 Software Now Available

Just uploaded 11.1 and during the 3rd flight of the day experienced a audible warning message along with a message that the ADAHRS was using GPS assist.  It only lasted a couple of seconds during taxi.  The system had been powered and in operation for several minutes when I received the...

    IFR Check

    (b) applies to the altimeter, not the altitude source for mode C, which is what the OP was inquiring about.  Agree if they are doing the altimeter checks, even then though, table 1 is not every 1000 ft-

    IFR Check

Agreed on the grey code, actually there are, I think 7 specific altitudes that need to be checked to verify all bit lines in grey code are connected and operating.  Also the Part 91 rule used to read that if the altitude source or altimeter were not TSO approved, that you had to do a...
