The MAP and Kavlico oil and fuel sensors require 5 volts. Only the fuel flow sensor (Red Cube) uses 12 volts. It is suggested to split the 5 volt output from the EMS (pin 18) to all three sensors.

Not an -8, they are tandem seating. Likely a -7 or -6 (older version of the -7). I'd guess the iPad is used for IFR charts and loading the flight plan into the Skyview.

Sounds like you may have a broken shear pin in the servo.
