    Dynon GPS integration

Right. The GPS-2020 antenna provides the necessary WAAS position to the Skyview and SV-XPNDR-261, along with AD-AHRS information to be ADSB compliant. If you have all that, according to the Dynon post above, you can feed the position to your D100, if you want and you have an available serial TX...

    User waypoint csv partial load

Just a guess but there is likely a limit to the number of way points you can import/store.

Windows 10 (ugh!) and the D100/120 support program

Windows Update use the BITS service to download updates. There is no need or reason to restrict its use because it does so automatically. Blaming MS for a restriction you imposed is a bit silly :D You can also turn off automatic updates and do them manually, which most business do because they...

    EMS Audio Inhibit on Start

I don't find it a bother; it is working as designed. I recently installed a sump heater so cold starts will probably be rare in the future. After start, I want to know as quickly as possible that the oil pressure has not come up to the minimum I have set (which Bob could possibly use in this...

    EMS Audio Inhibit on Start

As a point of reference, the way mine is working is as follows: Upon SV power up: * No alerts After a start attempt but no start (usually cold wx): * Low fuel pressure audible warning * Low oil pressure warning * Low oil temp warning (depending on temp). It seems that once oil pressure is...

    GNS430W software requirement

I believe your 430W has the correct software if you have the option to set it to ADS-B+ Older software versions did not have the ADS-B+ option. It appears the 5.2 update was primarily to support the FS 210. https://www.euroga.org/forums/maintenance-avionics/5048-garmin-430w-software-update-query

Tip for malfunctioning readings on Skyview

What Vern said. You can also use the ring style with screws, star washer and nut. These can be ordered from ACS as well.

    Nav-Com list

No personal experience, Neal, but folks on the Vans forum (VansAirforce.com) have generally negative views of the VAL Nav 2000 with both operation and support. A quick Google search will provide some good reading on the topic.

    AOA reset?

I will have to use Airguy's method (Thanks!) for my RV-7A. I've done the calibration twice with the last one using no flaps. Still, just before touching down/staling during landing I get the beep to start, which is essentially just providing stall warning. I'd like to hear it earlier to better...

    Local time on the display

This would still require that the SV know all the nooks and crannies of where DST is in use or not (e.g. AZ). It is easy enough to adjust to local time when DST changes, IMO. I keep one screen on local and the other on UTC.

    Fuel calibration

Upon installing the new D1000, it will copy the settings from the existing screen. You can then re-do the fuel calibration the way you did the first time.

    SkyView Documentation

I have printed it on my home printer but you can also send it to Kinko or UPS to print and they can do a nice job of binding it. I find that having a printed version while wiring is very useful for making notes that can later assist with creation of a schematic.

    HITS Intermittent

I suspect you are not setting your altitude bug to your desired en-route altitude. HITS assumes you want to fly there and centers on that value.

Yellow and Red shading when close to the ground

I believe you are seeing the Terrain Proximity Alerting that colors the map, which is normal a fantastic safety feature. See page 7-14 of the pilot user guide for more information.

    DME quality

I did some interweb searching... Here is a link to an old article on the topic. I doubt much has changed since 1998. As with other IFR regulations, it is as much or more about the database than the equipment...

    Skyview Touch calibration

Sounds like the AD-AHRS is not properly installed. You will need to re-mount it to meet the installation requirements. Once that is done, I think most of the unusual readings will be fixed but you may still need to adjust the auto-pilot settings.

    Basic ADS-B question re: Skyview

Re: Basic ADS-B question Skyview You will not get direct traffic information from a 1090 out aircraft; it must come from a ground station. The 470 receives on 978, which is primarily received from ground stations. Few aircraft transmit out on 978 but that number may grow as the deadline nears...

    Interface to garmin GTR-225

Audio alerts can be sent to your non-Dynon intercom via direct wire connections. I don't believe it can send frequencies to a non-Dynon radio, however. It is passed over the Dynon serial network (DB-9). You might want to install one 255 and one Dynon radio so you'd have this feature.

    D2 hardwire?

The SV USB ports do not provide any charge capabilities. I installed this one from SteinAir.com. Works great and no noise on the radio. http://www.steinair.com/product/dual-usb-panel-jack/
