    ETE/ETA computations "jumpy"

Military missions routinely require seconds to be on target and it would be great to see a Dynon system in a Blackhawk helicopter!

    ADSB 472

I still have the 470 box in my RV-7A and was surprised the other day to see a plane converging on me while very close to KSAV airspace. We both would have been on radar but he did not show up on my screen. Other targets were present, as was weather. I suspect the other plane's transponder was...

Can we get a dark color scheme for night flight?

I imagine you have a reason for using an external dimmer but the one built-in works very well and keeps it simple (KIS).

    ADSB 472

Is it possible ForeFlight was picking up weather via Wi-Fi or cellular rather than getting it from the Scout while on the ground?

    ADSB 472

Define "urgent." (rhetorical) It means different things to different people and to a company that supports lots of products and thousands of users. With any software or hardware issue, it cannot be fixed if it cannot be reproduced with controlled configurations and methods. This takes time to...

D6 with ADHRS or Magnetometer or Pitot/Static

Page 3-10 of the installation manual states either pitot static or GPS data with pitot static being the recommended solution. I would also recommend connect it to your AOA source (e.g. Dynon pitot/AOA tube). http://www.dynonavionics.com/includes/guides/EFIS-D6_Installation_Guide_Rev_A.pdf

    Additions to the EMS data

Fuel used is already available. Remaining is also displayed but relies on a good calibration. Fuel at next destination would be possible but not likely to be accurate until very close to the way-point or destination.

    Sidetone > 0 results in beacon/strobe noise

Your LED lights must use shielded wires. The MFG typically provides a diagram and wire type requirements. I suggest reading the Bob Knuckles AeroElectric guide to help mitigate these types of issues ahead of time.

    Roll sensitivity vs gain

This link to another thread should help explain the difference. http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1494869261/2#2

How do I connect a GPS to an AP74?

According to the EKP IV manual, it supports NMEA serial output. http://www.avmap.us/upload/files/EKP_pro_inglese_162.pdf Which EFIS are you using with the AP74? Check the install guide for it and it will provide details on feeding the data from your GPS.

    Roll sensitivity vs gain

My understanding is that you would leave sensitivity maxed out unless the increase in gain causes it to be too sensitive.

    Integral IFR GPS navigator

My hope is that the Part 23 re-write makes it easier for Dynon to produce and sell an IFR navigator.

What kind of airplane are you flying?

My plane has an AP with the fuse behind the panel. I do have some CBs for things I want to see if they go offline (e.g. flaps).

    Starting With Dynon On

The question is, does this small wire to the EMS need to have some kind of protection like a small 1 amp fuse or a 28 AWG wire run in series? Answered above... "Just make sure the parallel line is breaker/fuse protected."

    SV-COM?

If you go the Daniels route, you can get relatively inexpensive ($14) positioners on Amazon (Cablegia). Shipping is expensive at $28 but they ship fast. I've purchased some from Daniels (DMC) and they have good pricing but you'll wait 3 weeks for whatever you order (my experience so far)...

    SV-COM?

If you won't be doing much more than your build, these from ACS will get the job done for standard pins you'll be working with (not high density). Daniel's crimpers are the industry standard if you plan to be crimping a lot of pins but they are expensive...

    Advice please?

I should have mentioned that you should only need to load the maps on one screen if you have the screens connected via the optional network cable.

    Advice please?

Congratulations on your new -7! You are going to LOVE it. I've seen similar issues posted here where the USB drive was the problem. Have you tried a different one?

    Dynon COM weak and broken

Also interested in your outcome as my Dynon radio is being reported by tower on 126.25 as having the same issues. Other frequencies seem to be fine. rvator, which SWR box are you using? I've been looking at getting one...

    PPT interference

You have a bad ground somewhere. When you trigger PTT, it is simply closing a loop to ground to trigger the mic. Make sure you have a good ground from engine to airframe and from engine to the EMS module.
