    Different information on 2 displays

Can you confirm that you wired the ADS-B serial connection to both displays? It is necessary (and tedious) for things like GPS, Transponder and ADS-B.

    Power fuse size D10 EMS

Here is what I found in the install manual, page 2-2. The EMS-D10 system-wide power requirement is 8 watts typical and 10 watts maximum. On a 12-volt system, this translates to about 1 amp of maximum current draw. On a 24-volt system, this translates to about 0.5 amps maximum current draw...

v15 bug(?) - HSI no longer circular

I thought, possibly incorrectly, that the D1000T and HDX could work in the same panel. If Dynon could have made that work, and I think they tried, some remnants of those efforts appear to linger. They are listening and with any big release, are working diligently to fix bugs (no software is...

SkyView HDX 10" Displays Now Shipping

I suspect it could have been done but not in the timeline given (Fall 2016). I'll hold out a little longer before purchasing my second screen in hopes of a change but would also be quite happy with two SV1000T screens. I haven't seen the two screens side-by-side so I can't say the HDX is a...

    HDX and Touch compatibility

I think they mean that the internal architecture of the EFIS is different enough that the software will have to be written specifically for each screen. I've cancelled my HDX order, sadly.

SkyView HDX 10" Displays Now Shipping

Is it really true that we cannot mix HDX and non-HDX screens (SV1000T) in the same panel even if running the same software version? http://www.vansairforce.com/community/showpost.php?p=1123546&postcount=17

SkyView HDX 10" Displays Now Shipping

Another thread (maybe in another forum) said the HDX has the v15 software and it will be available in the next few days for the older SV products.

Option I would love to see.

Though it would ease installation time and effort, you would potentially lose redundancy, which one reason for having dual screens. Wiring/soldering the serial inputs to both my SV harnesses was certainly tedious (most of a day) but knowing that both screens are fed independently from the...

AOA calibration and full power stalls.

Page 4-26 in the installation manual, Rev Y. INHIBIT AOA BELOW AIRSPEED – Allows you to set an airspeed below which no AOA tones are played. This helps prevent nuisance alarms while on the ground and taxiing, especially in tail draggers.

Seattle Avionics Data Manager crashes on startup

They would have to provide a debug build of the product to enable that type of ability, which is not common for any software product. Other things to try that they may have already recommended: * Disable the Windows firewall * Disable Anti-Virus (many of these also have a firewall) * Create a...

As a test, I downloaded and installed on my Win7 laptop and it started fine. Try right-clicking the app or installer and Run as Administrator.

What screws are used for the SkyView Touch/HDX?

I just ordered these brass screws from McMaster Carr. Dynon also sells screws but shipping cost is high, IMO. 97715A104 Brass Button-Head Socket Cap Screw, 6-32 Thread, 1/2" Length, packs of 25

    Adding a second SV, EMS
