The transponder is powered direct by the aircraft bus. SkyView can't prevent it from being turned off. SkyView itself will not turn off during an upgrade if it has a backup battery.

Yes,  if this happens unfortunately there is no way to reset the transponder while in the airplane. You need to send it back to be reset. If you are in France, please contact FinesseMax. We will contact them and see if we can set them up to perform the reset.

The dimensions shown on the installation guide are a starting point, but every airplane can be different. You should extend the pushrod so that over-center cannot occur.

Louis, Thanks for the input. We'll add it to the list. As a note, the TRAFFIC alert is given at least 20 seconds before a collision is possible, so you do have quite a bit of time to resolve it.

Valerie, The D10A is tested operationally down to -30C, and should work down there. The only issue can be that the screen is dimmer when starting at those temperatures, and can take some time to warm up. I don't have a solid answer for you on exactly what temp full brightness can be expected...
