    261 & 470 not found

Bob: Did you connect the SV-XPNDR-261 and the SV-ADSB-470's serial ports to BOTH the SV-D1000T and the SV-D700? If not, that's required. The other frequent cause for angst on wiring serial devices is the mistake of wiring the TX of the device to the TX of the SkyView display. Correct...

Without a SkyView, the SV-COM-C25... * The panel buttons are inoperable * The panel display will display No SV * The Squelch cannot be adjusted * The Sidetone cannot be adjusted * The Microphone Gain cannot be adjusted Thus, we do not recommend the SV-COM-C25 if you do not have a SkyView. The...

    D-1 radio interferance

The D1/D2's DC power supply adapter complies with all required specifications. Dynon Avionics Technical Support has heard from a few customers that their COM radios receive interference apparently generated by the D1/D2's DC power supply adapter. There is no "fix" available for the D1/D2's DC...

    CO Indictor

SkyView does not currently support the Guardian CO detector other than monitoring a contact closure. Better support in SkyView for these types of devices have been requested a number of times previously, but to date, it has not been implemented.

WiFi flight plan support for OzRunways EFB

SkyView supports the import of flight plans via Wi-Fi. To develop, and introduce this feature, we partnered with ForeFlight, and for a time, that feature was exclusive to ForeFlight. If OzRunways contacted Dynon Avionics during that time, we wouldn't have been able to work with them at the time...

If you're referring to the Sensor Type, no field only supports single digits. Could you include a photo of what you're referring to?

    K factor adjustment

The quoted passage is referring to the Fuel Computer, calculating the amount of fuel used using a fuel FLOW sensor. But you seem to be describing a fuel LEVEL issue, which doesn't involve the fuel flow sensor. Please clarify what you're referring to by "2 more gallons in the tank than actual".

    261 & 470 not found

Bob, The 470 and 261 are not network devices, so they will not show up in NETWORK CONFIGURATION. All debugging is done in the serial port setup page. If you're getting "good sentences" in the respective pages, everything is working.

Will DynonServos fly you down the glideslope?

The combination of equipment to do what you're describing (Glideslope) is a SkyView System with AP in EXPERT mode, with a certified GPS or NAV providing the glideslope data to SkyView. The GPS or NAV provides the guidance, the SkyView AP controls the servos. Our older products, such as the...

    Errant Amperage Readings

If you're using the "AMPS SHUNT" to measure current, it's often the case that one of the fuses, or fusible links that are specified to be in series between the AMPS SHUNT and the SV-EMS-221 are blown. That will make the readings unreliable. Keep in mind that Lane A&B voltages refer to the...

    D10A STC

While the EAA owns the STC and thus only they can discuss pricing, they made it clear in the press announcement that the reason they got this STC is to get safety enhancing technologies in more GA planes, and the only way to do that is to lower the cost of equipment. We are confident that the...

That bug has been fixed for some time (v13.0): Fixed: Changing the map knob zoom range direction (MAP MENU > MAP MODE > INC MAP RANGE) COUNTERCLOCKWISE also erroneously changed SkyView Touch's + and - zoom buttons. If you want to know what changed in any specific firmware, see What's New in...

Dynon Intercom Jack Wiring Help Needed

You have the jack wiring correct. My favorite way to terminate a shields is to strip the jacket, then use a fine tip device to push the shielding aside to make a hole big enough to tug the wires through the hole. Then twist the shield braid into a wire. Bring all those shield wires to one...
