Dynon, Will the current autopilot follow a flight plan from a Garmin X96 if that is selected as the source? If it will track lateral nav, will it track vertical or is that only going to be for a certified GPS in conjunction with your ARINC 429 adapter?

You are right about nothing coming close. I taught a guy his G1000 and that was the only thing close. Pricey too.

Will a database other than Jeppesen be available? I will have to have that for the GNS 480 and do not relish having to have another software subscription. That would make the Skyview map no better than an MX20. If a Jeppeson subscription is required for the upgraded map, will the base map now...

As an option you might consider ordering a main harness from Dynon now for your wiring. The harness for the unit is likely not expensive and you would have the correct connectors and wire colors to start with already installed and ready to connect.

Dynon now has the capstan servos to work with cable driven controls. I do not see any reason you could not use a Dynon autopilot with either a legacy or Skyview Dyon system.

Did you go back to Setup and verify your desired page rotation/display?

Mathmatically (if you are confident in the 18 L/hr measurement) you should just be able to use the ratio to adjust the K factor. 21/18=68000/x. This should give a new K factor of 58286. You could give that a try since you can always adjust later if needed but it should work.
