Sorry to tell you there are not very many options out there for a "box" that can let you legally file and fly /G. Of those available the Garmin units (430W / 650) are probably the best. Which one you purchase depends on what you think is best for you. 8-)

I see this once in a while when I start the system, I haven't moved and the GPS hasn't had time to get a good signal lock. Once I start moving or the GPS gets a lock, it goes away and everything works fine. 8-)

If it works with the most common Garmin units (G430/530, x96, AERA and the new GTNs) it will be an excellent start for a great feature. 8-)

I don't know if this has been suggested before but how about having the Skyview accept flight plan cross-feed from a Garmin product. So if you enter a flight plan into the Garmin, it feeds it into the Skyview system. No need to enter the flight plan in to the Garmin and then into the Skyview. 8-)

What Xponder GPS input setting did you have before this? It looks like you have 2 issues. 1- You need to connect the G696 to the transponder. It doesn't look like it is. 2- You need to change the GPS data in from "Garmin ADSB" to "Aviation" and verify your G696 is set to "Aviation" out. This...
