It's a Europa. There was a "little" turbulence about. The next picture in the sequence taken about three seconds later shows 650fpm up with much the same attitude. Earlier in the flight we had 2250fpm up at 75% pwr in mountain wave. (and yes, the wind readout is correct!)

It was my first real chance to have a play with the HSI today and it's ace! 130kts true off 100hp and only 50% power.  The 171kts groundspeed is even better!

As long as it is connected as per the manual (using the resistor) it should work. It might be worth checking that the line that you have connected it to (RPM L or R) is the one that the D120 is trying to display.
