Any updates?
At this point, we'll know when they tell us. Coming from a highly regulated world (both FDA and FAA), document reviews are exhaustive and take a LOT of time - especially with many changes. Good news is that code changes are likely done or they wouldn't be in doc review state.

Unfortunately, My deadline has passed and I have to look elsewhere for my next panels to meet my schedule. Right now I am designing one for another aircraft at the same time for my S-21. I've been more than patient. It's been a long relationship, but it looks like it's over... Brand 'G' will give me everything I want and seem keen.

Attaboy Vern! You scared 'em into releasing it!

wrt the engine sensor definition file...is this actually new? The download file shows an update date of June 2020. Also, can you please add the Aithre Shield CO detector to it, so if/when this file changes, we don't have to manually edit it back in every time?

Steve,
It is a new file, but it only adds support for the ULPower can bus.
If I had a custom sensor, I personally would never update using method 1. I would just use the software update only file. The sensor file rarely changes and even if it did, unless you change something on the airplane, there really is no need to update the sensor file.
I have a case going with engineering to add the Aithre sensors, so at some point, hopefully they will include them.

With autopilot-autotrim trim turned on (HDX), does this update fix the runaway trim issue several users have had?

Yep, that's what I do. It's not that big a deal, but I did want to update the sensor file (new Kavlico sensors, even though I know the parameters are identical to the old ones), as I like for everything to be 100% up-to-date.

Just FYI...I see on p. 7-31 of the User's Guide "Error! Reference source not found."

I do appreciate the change bars, though...

When do you think it will be available for certified installations?

Where do we find info on this feature?

Improved: New Low/High Speed Sensitivity settings for Roll, Pitch, and Yaw autopilot servos to allow the autopilot to take into account airspeed to improve autopilot performance across flight regimes.

Yay!! New software! Can’t wait to try it out! Especially the autopilot on coupled approaches.

thanks for the documents showing the changes. Makes it easy to look for new stuff.

OK, who is going to be first to build a super cool iPad app incorporating the ADAHRS, positon and now EMS data streamed over WiFi? Would make a really nice rear seat display for a tandem aircraft or a copilot display.

Well, look at that! I pulled the plug, burned the files and then Dynon posts the update. Unfortunately for me, I had posted my own software release on my web site last night*, and it does not support the Dynon WiFi streaming, which is the key new feature I was waiting for.

In the spirit of an abused spouse, I'm back!

Now, I think there may be a bug in the UDP streaming. I am observing what looks like a CR or LF immediately after the start of frame character (!). I've tried two different apps on my iPhone and they both give the same result.

Is this a bug? Can Dynon staff check and report back?

Thanks, Vern
