I can't remember where I got that start button. I just did some searching on the internet for automotive start buttons. It's in my brothers Glastar. It is lit. I wired it so that it comes on with the left mag only.

If the 270 is a compass reading, it looks like your compass is 25 degrees different from the ground track of 295. The flight path indicator doesn't seem to agree with that difference. If there is no crosswind, the compass and GPS directions should be the same. Also the GS of 127mph is different...

After twisting off the first replacement, I finger tightened the second one to where it was fully inserted. No tools needed. I suspect the lock tight will hold the screw in place once it sets.

The problem with just numbers is that even the 5%ers are going to switch back to at least the 20% EMS display to figure out what is going on. Just "how bad" is it, is real bad when it lights up red. That also necessitates a quick way to switch. I personally think a few precious seconds wasted...

Out of curiosity, how good does the ground calibration need to be? If the aircraft is roughly pointed it in the approximate compass cardinal directions for the ground calibration, will a good (100+) in air calibration remove the errors? Also I got a few more points by doing lazy eights after...

You can probably make up one yourself with a 100 metre rope, a WAAS handheld GPS and a little trig. WAAS accuracy is about a metre. One metre in 100 is about a half a degree: atan (1/100). Is that accurate enough for the compass calibration? Paint a start point. Anywhere north and south will...

I'm in agreement with Skysailor and Dynon. The last static/pitot check I had revealed leaks at the connectors so I run new continuous lines from the pitot to ADAHRS when I replaced the pitot recently.

Did you leave the keys in it? Sounds like someone took a joy ride. ;) Savvy shows the flight from when you turn on Skyview to when you shut Skyview off even if you don't leave the ground. Did you maybe leave Skyview on overnight to charge the battery?

I just use the Dynon (FAA) data in the US. and just one database at a time. Loading either one over writes the previous one.

No comment on the weather information as we don't have ADS-B in Canada :-/ Best we have if Foreflight with a 4G iPad but don't tell anyone I said 4G and inflight weather together. I haven't looked at the colors on the map that closely. Dynon mentioned that they can all be manually modified...
