TRC- Thank you for that reminder, but I think you misunderstood the point of this thread. Bruno is attempting to assure the autopilot IS working correctly and not making an excuse.
Bruno;
I, too initially tuned the Autopilot and needed to retune with 7.0. Let me know how it goes. The tuning...
yes, of all the great ideas on this thread, Craig hit the AFS concept for the EMS data on the bottom, if that meant having the MAP and PFD take up the 50/50 and the EMS across the bottom, it would be a fantastic feature.
Bruno;
I went through the inflight tuning guide: page 5-2

best of success!
This happened to me as well. I needed to make a change in the ALT GAIN and other autopilot settings before I got in closer to the old way.
It did work in 6.2 and there was a change in 7.0, you just confirmed that.
user settable V speeds?
Use the values to set IAS tape colors. Set V-speed (e.g., stall speed in landing configuration) thresholds on the Airspeed Limitations Page (SETUP MENU > PFD SETUP > AIRSPEED LIMITATIONS)
looks like a -Y (for VxY) on the right of the tape
I think these replies stink-...
read up on flight plans starting on 7-38 of pilot guide.
what you are looking for is on 7-43- EXPORT FLIGHT PLAN: Select to export the current Flight Plan to a USB stick memory stick in GPX format. The filename is automatically generated using the names of the first and last waypoints.
http://wiki.dynonavionics.com/Importing_Flight_Plans
it's out dated as AOPA updated the version and dont have the export back yet.
I created a flight plan pretty quickly using the Flt plan within Skyview. I created a new flight plan and added the waypoints. Fortunately a trip from LAX to LAS...
sounds like the connector is loose. What is happening is once it gets heated up and expands it has a good connection and works.
You'll want to squeeze the connections and that will solve your problem for a while. I had this happen a few times than ended up recrimping on a new connector, has not...
Any way to add a waypoint that would include the ATC freq and allow one to put CNTR as a Ident.
the example would be as I move over a area not covered by Dynon for LA center, I could create a waypoint, put in a freq that I am using and allow it to label it as CNTR for future reference.
page 7-20 of latest pilot user guide:
MAIN MENU > MAP > MENU > MAP ITEMS. Use these settings to specify the highest zoom level that the various features are displayed.
I think you miss the point of having the technology available.
Before Dynon we didnt have that information, now we are asking for it so we can meet the FAR's. Until than, you are correct, we'll need to know what the center freqs are manually. If we can get that information from the Skyview all...
Randy;
Funny you should post this, I flew out to Nevada, Utah and back into so cal and I thought the same way. I got dep and they handed me over along the way, the funny thing is I tried to predict what I would get along the way ( since there is nothing blue in between) and the ATC freqs told me...
Try taking two screenshots while flying and see if it really is resolved.
I had a screenshot work than when flying tried again and it did not work again.
Support;
So If I were to press the DTO, before the first leg begins on FPL, as I have in the past, it will now automatically kick in to the next leg once reaching the first point?
