The D180 and D120 will always source their own EMS info. Combining a D180 with a 2nd EMS wasn't really a conceived of connected scenario (why would one need two EMSes in a piston single, better to back up the EFIS by going with a D180 + D10A or D100 EFIS). Regardless, once you connect them...

So I don't think that's us. We don't have an audible for "pull up" or terrain. Is it some other verb/action? All of the audible alerts are configurable in SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > AUDIO SETUP. Or, maybe another device in the aircraft?

For certification reasons, the software versions are not cross-loadable.

That info is actually in the user's guide. Page 3-1 and onward. If we wrote it today, since it's more of a setup/config thing, it'd probably go in the install guide, where you're looking for it.

Things that can affect this: Is your tail number set? Air your airspeed limits set?

I suggest you reach out to our support team for more personalized help here (contact info in signature). A few random thoughts: Are the AP servos not powered for some reason? I'd only expect to see what you're seeing if a SkyView Network configuration was performed with the servos unpowered.

A couple of thoughts: The GPS fix won't be valid to SkyView without the serial wire going from the 430 to the ARINC module. Also, check and see what the GPS role is under SYSTEM SETUP > ARINC-429. If those don't shed light, touch base with our support team (contact info in signature)...

The servo works fine in ANY orientation - there's no "starting point" that's better or worse than any other (subject to the limiting bracket fitment, and being able to reach full deflection and all of the other things stated in the installation materials).

I will say, my aircraft has 1500+ hours with 8 partners, their families, kids, and endless friends and young eagle flights, and I've never noticed a scratch (caveat: high wing = no foot kicks as you drop in).
