    D180-Season variation on OAT accuracy?

I'm not sure if there's a component or connecting within the EDC that could be affecting the reading, but that's the direction I'd be looking. What were you using for your ground path for the OAT probe when it was hooked to the EDC? But answers to your specific connections: 1. Maybe. Per above...

    EMS "CONTACT" inputs anomally

Do ALL of the sensors go to red Xes? Or just the contacts?

    Autopilot Setup

The autopilot software needs to be able to sense the trim forces, and so autotrim is not trivially easy to test on the ground. If you wanted to take a progressive/cautious approach to testing everything, you could disable the autotrim feature to start (you'll still get trim advice on the AP top...

    500 ft Warning

I'm not remembering an audio alert that calls our 500 feet, but I can be wrong. Do you have any other things with audio out connected? A portable GPS perhaps?

    Aviation Data base

If you used method 2, you need to download the aviation data separately from http://www.dynonavionics.com/us-aviation-obstacle-data.php. You should have (for this cycle) a file named FAA_av1701_ob1701_15.0.4.duc in the root of your USB memory stick that you then load to each display.

    Autopilot Setup

So on the ground, what you're seeing is normal. The autopilot will try to fly the airplane, but can't because it's control surface requests don't change the aircraft attitude. And so it just keeps asking for more.

    D100 start up issue.

If there's a stable power supply or battery there, we'd probably want to take a look at that. Give our tech support team a call at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com.

    D6 and AP are compatible

The D6 does not have autopilot capability. You want either an EFIS-D10A or EFIS-D100 given that you already have the EMS. The AP74 isn't required for autopilot use - you can also use the EFIS's buttons - but it does make mode actuation easier. As for the servos, you would likely need the SV52...

    Autopilot Setup

The Level button only works in expert mode - that is true. The stick definitely shouldn't be going hard over to the side though. Is this on the ground or in flight? Do other modes work OK? On autotrim - have you gone through the Auto-trim configuration under SETUP > HARDWARE CALIBRATION >...

    EMS D10 shutting down

As you suspect, the DSAB error is just the EFIS not seeing the EMS. That part is expected. First place to look here is all of the connections - particularly - is there power or other connection that might be intermittent?

    OAT calibration error

There's a single point shift (affects all temperatures equally) under the OAT setup menu. Beyond that, I don't have the resistances immediately handy, but there isn't much else you can do. For what it's worth, we moved away from that sensor many years ago because we discovered that it wasn't...

Do I need a new ADAHRS?

Yeah, give our a support team a call at 425-402-0433. Even though water damage isn't covered under warranty, we also don't generally charge full cost for a replacement / repair in these unlucky circumstances.

Rotax 912 Oil Temperature connection to D180

You do not need the excitation voltage or resistor for oil temperature (but you do for the CHT/coolant temps that are the same sensor but hooked to the GP inputs). The signal wire goes to the normal input pin, and grounding is via the case of the sensor.

Unable to load/extract update for 15.0.4

For some reason that picture isn't loading up. A couple of quicker things to try: A different USB memory stick, and using "method 2" for updating rather than the the package file. If neither of those things work, we'll want to have you touch base with our tech support staff for next steps.

DYNON HELP -BOTH ADAHRS/ EMS FAIL

Dynon designs all inputs that hook to aircraft systems to be DO-160 compliant for 28V aircraft. Basically, this requires 40V to be handled for a second, and 60V for 0.1 seconds. This is the same level of testing that would be required for certified devices and is the industry standard for...

    AUDIO SUBSYSTEM FAIL warning message

I think that means that we'll want to see that display. Give our technical support team a call to verify. If you have audio output hooked up already, do you hear audio from both displays? (to test each individually, turn on only one at a time)

Dynon SV Random AP disconnects RV10

A couple of questions: Is he using expert mode or simplified mode? If expert, is the flight director still active (IE, the AP bar in the top left is still populated with modes/numbers, but the AP isn't connected) when the AP disconnects? And does he have the SV-AP-PANEL? Assuming audio is...

    Dynon Transponder?

No. The Dynon (and Trig) transponders are "elementary surveilance" devices. Per the spec: "ETSO 2C112b Class 1 Level 2els, ETSO C166a Class B0, TSO C112c Class 1 Level 2els, TSO C166b Class B1S" - the "els" part is the pertinent bit there. For what it's worth, the EHS transponders are really...

    Visual & Audible Airspace Warnings

While we always read comments and ideas on the forum (and log all of them for discussion / possible inclusion here), we don't always comment here. We definitely think there is room for interesting additional ways to help keep pilots out of airspaces that they don't mean to be in.
