So....which item was at fault ? shunt or EMS module ? Jake J

    Jumpy RPM readings

Like the comment on the Vans forum I'd just increase the resistor value in 10 K increments, that should fix it  ;) Happy New Year Jake J

Lebel mode on SkyView auto pilot

Joe A "generalisation" & from my perspective (& I'm not being snarky) it's very unfair for some posters to ask questions without obviously reading the install manuals. I've said it before " if you've read the manuals but then don't understand or fully comprehend them, then that's ok" IMO :)...

Lebel mode on SkyView auto pilot

Sometimes I wonder if the manual wasn't read before some questions are asked. TRC That happens too often IMO :-? Jake J

    GARMIN GTR 225 compatibility

BTW, I believe there is a Service Bulletin for the GTR255 re reverse sensing ( CDI operates in reverse) in certain circumstances. ....and it does not monitor ( & apparently never will) the standby frequency like the the SL30 does, one step forward, ie going to 8.33 MHz spacing & then loss of...

Unusual EGT reading prior to engine start

I have given numerous inputs to perceived issues with EGT/Cht, a search should find the answers ;). Or just PM me. Jake J Glasair IIS FT

    K factor for Red Cube

FYI & others - the sensors that mostly (as there can be exceptions) should not be mounted on the engine are Oil & Fuel Pressure & particularly Fuel flow. Jake J

    K factor for Red Cube

Godoy I'd redo the cube mount, do not hard mount it to the engine, & use some other method that will absorb the high frequency vibration that the existing mounting method gives - refer tp page 7-41 Skyview Install manual rev P, the legacy Dynon units Installation manual say the same. Then I'd...

    New D2 Introduced

John Believe me I understand where you're coming from  ;) All we have to do is try and stop all those people with their requests/demands/expectations of more & more 'cool' features that many don't or most likely rarely use  :-?  Funny thing is they also expect it not to cost any more too  :-/...

    Serial ports and VP-X

Bruce -- another way could be to have a switch between the 2 Dynon Gps's, that would free up a port. I'd have 3 of the wires parelled up with only the Gps Tx wires as the switched ones ;) HTH Jake J

I've also just seen this, did several screen shots however only 1 was shown despite the SV acknowledgement that they were all taken - & yes, it has vers 7.0.1 :) Jake J

    Fuel level capacitance converter

Does anyone have info on using the VMS capacitance sensors with the Skyview system, please ? I did do a search but results were not definitive enough. Jake J

    EFIS-D60

Just an observation here -- with aircraft that have 'curved' panels, ie Jabiru & Lightning etc I usually make sure the wings are level first (digital level & wing jacks) then make a level line on the panel for a reference point. ;) HTH Jake J

Excessive static in intercom when PTT used.

Hey Trev It may not be the filter replacement you describe, depends on other things too including serial number of unit , it may be the EMS module too - best bet is to contact support direct IMO ;) Jake J

    Intermittent Transponder

Glad you got it sorted - it would be nice for all to know which 'fix' did it - one way to find out is to use a multimeter to check continuity between the tip of antenna & centre socket where BNC pin goes in, please ;) Jake J
