    FWIW - what I do is make sure the 'nut' is 2 -2.5 " from the probe end then install it, that way you always have pressure pushing the probe against the cylinder metal. ;) Jake J

    Earnest It's best to have a straight fitting on the inlet to stop turbulence, & therefore inaccurate readings, however a 45 or 90 on the outlet usually works ok. Jake J

    D60 to GTX327

    GTX pin 19 goes to D60 pin 13 ( pin 25 goes to ground at Gtx). Set the D60 ALTENC menu to Format 4 via the FRMAT button. :) Jake J

    You may have gone over this with Dynon but what type of plane & are the sensors grounded (ideally it's better to connect sensor ground to one of the ground wires at the back of the SV)? For troubleshooting purposes I'd connect a temporary ground wire to the sensors & recheck. Jake J

    Bench testing a Transponder is for checking serviceability & after repairs, testing of the complete Transponder system, ie Txpdr & Encoder etc, for power output & other specs can only be done in the aircraft to comply with your FARs or our AD's every 2 years ;) Ps - if you get caught here...

    Trust me HiGeez, I understand your pain but you will find the cause of the issues you are having :) I think Dynon did say they are having a 'break' from Dec 25th through to Jan 1st  ;) Another thought (& I may have missed this) did you try changing over the servos to prove where the problem is...

    Willi FWIW - I use one of the Alternator output wires as per the Dynon SV manual - works well however you may need to add a resistor to it to 'stabilise' thye rpm at high revs :) Jake J
