Hello Rob, The Kavlico sensors are the ones to be used for Fuel and Oil pressure, not for the MP sensor. There is a completely different sensor to be used for the manifold pressure as this is a much lower pressure range

I assume you have the seial connection from the SL-40 to the Dynon installed and are getting correct messages on the link status. Did you configure the interface for SL-40?

Most likely that will work, although it is not clear how the LED internal power limiter works from the data sheet. Experiment with different resistor values till you get a desired brightness level.

So the 5 Volt supply for the potmeter is purely an Dynon EMS issue as this wants the returned position signal, that goes into the EMS be in the range from 0 to 5 volt

The motor (two white wires on the ray alan) runs from 12 Volt. But the sensing potmeter is supplied form the 5 Volt so that the return sense line retunes a variable voltage between 0 and 5 Volt for the position indication.
