    New SkyView Products at Oshkosh

Brantel It's more than just WAAS as the Tso 145/146 has FD&E (fault detection and exclusion of 'bad' satellites) something not likely to be seen in a handheld Gps. Over here we don't get a useable WAAS signal, and won't until a geostationary satellite is overhead - mooted cost is $100m so...

    aux ammeter install

This topic has been discussed before however why not have the volts warn light working for one and amps for the other alternator ? Or have a biased switch for #2 and momentary switch it to #1 as well as lo volt warn for #1. This is my solution for the installs I've done ;) My .02 cents Jake J

    New SkyView Products at Oshkosh

From the brochure - Note, full ADS-B Out compliance requires a TSO-C146A GPS (WAAS) to be connected. I'd suggest you need to read the info carefully IF you need to satisfy the compliance for ADSB OUT, ie the "w" series Garmin units and the 480. Jake J

    No RPM Reading

Tim If you're sure it's setup correctly I'd save the settings you have and download the pre configured sensor map file for your engine - answer has got to be something you're not seeing ;) Jake J

    Skyview Boot Problem

"mass memory corrupted or missing, contact Dynon support". The above message just happened to a customers SV (vers 2.5) and the SV stayed powered on after ships power turned off - temporarily removing backup power and then rebooting SV seems to have fixed the problem. HTH Jake J

I'd connect the serial anyway - it's just 2 wires & you have many serial input ports. Jake J

DS John has his EFIS 'locking up' as well - I have since discovered he has an internal battery AND keep alive connected. He will change that and report back the results. Jake J

Where to disconnect the Keep Alive wire

Skysailor I mentioned removing the wire as it can become an 'antenna' for picking up and introducing 'noise' into the system ;) Jake J

Where to disconnect the Keep Alive wire

I think it's best to remove the wire completely however you could cut it at the coonector if you don't have the removal tool. Pin 2 is keep alive (should be fused close to power source) on both units - Dynon recommendation is to not connect keep alive. Jake J
