Clock problems with D180 in newly minted RV 10

Wayne The best all round solutuion,IMO, is to install the backup battery, that wayyou have the clock keeping time and a 'failsafe' situation - Dynon says DO NOT use the keep alive wire. Jake J :)

I'd suggest a lot of us, myself included, are using the 'Apollo' units ie GX 50,55,60,65 series. Jake J

    buzzing through headset

I'd turn off the audio out first, to confirm that is the source of the 'noise' and if it is then check your alarm settings etc. Jake J

    D180 to GTX330 altitude encoding

Either way it's intermittent - I haven't seen the 330 units yet however the 327 looks very similar (rack wise) and they don't have a 'connector' issue. Maybe it just wasn't seated home properly in the first place ? ;) The only other unit that does have this rack issue is the Garmin 480. Jake J

    D180 blowing 2 amp fuse

Which wires are connected on the DB37 ? to what ? Jake J :)

    D180 blowing 2 amp fuse

It only happens when the DB37 misc sensor connector is plugged in. There is the clue - check to see that you don't have pin 1 & 2 connected to anything, if that doesn't 'fix' it then check any other 'power' (& ground) wiring. Jake J

    Blinking Screen on D-100

Hi Ralph 1. 'Spiking', ie voltage drop on starting, is not an issue 2. Usually a good idea to load the latest - unless of course there are unknown bugs ;) BTW, if you have a D180 I'd add the backup battery - that way the EMS is always ON when starting. Jake J

Skyview EMS Warning Light (pin 29)

We shouldn't dwell on the past however Dynon did advise that there is limited functionality in the initial release and more functions will be added in time - there is a list of these on the website. http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/news_technology_preview.html Most manufacturers release...

    PTT & Menu appears

I'm having similar issues on a composite airplane. Com 1 PTT = D120 alarms, EGT/CHT shows -99C.  System recovers and all parameters read correctly after settling down in flight. Some radio frequencies worse than others. Com 2 PTT = no issues. Swapped antennas (all coax is RG400 low loss) -...
