    You most likely have it figured out already, looks like the install was done that way because it was easy for him to do :-? 8 to 10cm (3+" to 4") is way too close, you need a more benign, magnetically, location for the ADAHRS - finding a better location with a hand held compass is one way ;)...

    A magneto pickup is a different animal, you will be using the p-lead wire for rpm sensing - it works & I've connected it that way several times. ;) Jake J

    Robin You're correct, the small problems we shouldn't stress about - as long as it doesn't stop us from flying ;D I'd increase the resistor value in say 20 kohm increments on the left mag & I think you can go to ~ 150 ? however I've never had to change from 30 kohm for any Slicks on 4...
