I made this comment to the suggestions topic a couple of years ago after flying Garmin's system that does this.  It is a real safety enhancement, and I would really like to see this feature implemented.  It would be my #1 desired new feature, and frankly I think about the lack of this every day...

I am having this same problem. This just started recently after the backup battery fully discharged itself after shutdown. Recycling the XPDR power removes the warning. Never saw this in previous 2 yrs of flying.

I uploaded my diagnostic file from last week for N199EC.  Antenna location- RV-6 1 ft aft of the canopy on fuselage centerline (top).  This location shouldn't be shadowed by wing or tail surfaces. 

There has been no flight time since the test flight. I'll download the diagnostic file and submit along with the FAA report. I believe that I have access to the detailed ADS-B track data from the FAA and may check that also.

At 18,000 ft the Baro reference changes from local barometric pressure to 29.92 to make the altitude reference equal to pressure altitude.  If skimming Class A airspace, might want to be aware of that.  :)

The 60NM ring is the speed restricted zone, and this has been shown as a part of the TFR on my ADS-B in equipped Skyview system for at least 2 years.

Missed the transponder update as a requirement for the V14 update- thought that was only when adding SV GPS 2020, which I have now done. So that should resolve the issue. Thanks.

Was there a TFR active? These display with a red tinted layer and with ADS-B in will dispaly when you climb high enough to pick up a ground station.

I do not think that you will find a non-TSO GPS that will provide guidance for GPS non precision or precision approaches. You would have to build the approaches yourself and that is one of the key issues.

If you open the file in Acrobat (ver 9 or later), you can make the page numbering match. In Acrobat, select to see the thumbnails, right click and select numbering from the menu. We make PDF's for manuals via Word all the time and do this to make finding stuff faster. I do it for myself...

It would be immensely more convenient when using the manuals if the PDF page numbers matched the document page numbers.

In the map-info items, "location" can be selected. I think that only displays the current location as lat/ Lon. I would like to see the location have an option to show the nearest public use airport or VOR with a direction and distance for use as a reporting point when contacting an ATC...
