How to 'downgrade' Skyview System Software?

You will almost certainly have to send the transponder back, since it did not take the update successfully. Reinstalling the Skyview software will not help.

    Skyview not shutting down gracefully

This was reported once before, that I know of. In that case, the system sensed that the aircraft was still in motion, which tells the system to not shutdown. If it repeats, check the airspeed and ground speed readouts.

    'Caution' warnings

I believe all the alerts/alarms in the system are configurable. Have you reviewed them to determine what might be the cause? Nobody would expect you to download while flying; that is the reason the alerts are logged - so you can determine what it was while on the ground.

    ADSB 472

The connection to the 470 is the same as the 472, based on prior Dynon responses to the question. Only the mount holes will change. The mount hole pattern is shown in the installation manual, page 1404 of the AD revision.

SkyView: in Panning Mode + turning track knob

Well, my SV 1000T system has a heading line, controlled by a heading knob. The autopilot can be set to follow said line in heading mode or in track mode. Otherwise, I have no idea what the OP is talking about. The post is a bit terse.

SkyView: in Panning Mode + turning track knob

I think you mean "heading line." I too have noticed that it does not show when panning on the screen. Probably a reason or limitation for not showing it. You should still see the heading bug, though.

Flight track of where i've flown

Could be but it doesn't say that in his post. A good problem statement goes a long way toward getting what you want out of software :)

    Skyview ADHARS-200 failure

My RV-7A is VFR only but I have dual AD-AHRS with plans for IFR capability when the funds become available.

    Sounds from skyview

Might your audio panel be sending in a VOR Morse code identifier?

    GPS redundancy for SV-261?

The installation manual shows that your GTN would connect to pin 3 (RX) of the transponder, while pins 5 (RX) and 7 (TX) would connect to your EFIS(s). If, when Skyview is configured to use an external GPS source, it does not send data to the transponder, it would work as proposed. Dynon would...

    GPS redundancy for SV-261?

Why not configure the GTN as your primary source and have the GPS-2020 as backup. If the GTN fails, you can configure the 2020 in the EFIS. If the EFIS fails, you still have your position source.

Tach time shift after changing cruise RPM

The numbers given above were just examples. I don't know where the tach was when I changed the cruise RPM and I flew 20+ hours before realizing the change happened. I suppose I could estimate, though, which is better than nothing (thanks for the tip). Tach time is used for most engine...

Updating to ADS-B Out w Skyview and Trig TT22

Yes. I had assumed, based on your original post, that you were controlling the Trig TT22/261 via Skyview and likely had a GPS-250 antenna. Just swap out the 250 for the 2020, configure it in the Skyview go fly. Then get a performance report from the FAA (they recommend monthly) to ensure you...

    GPS redundancy for SV-261?

Having configured both types of GPS sources, if your Garmin source were enabled via switch, you would also need to change the source within Skyview. My system has the old GPS-250 as backup, which is wired in parallel for redundancy. This configuration does not require switching (I don't think)...

Tach time shift after changing cruise RPM

Mostly posting this for others if they decide, like I did, to increase my cruise RPM from 2350 to 2450 after flying a while. I did this while flying cross country and discovered later that the tach time on the display lost several hours (e.g. went from 150 back to 130). The biggest hassle was...

    EGT readings

If replacing the connectors doesn't solve the issue, you should look at a fuel/air mixture issue. The CHT on that cylinder is also a bit lower than the others...

Updating to ADS-B Out w Skyview and Trig TT22

All you'll need for ADS-B OUT compliance is the Dynon GPS-2020 antenna. Wire it to both screens (RS232) and you are done. If you already have a GPS-250, you can just replace it and connect to the same wires (it should already be wired to both screens) or you can opt to keep the 250 for...
