I have no issues with my ADAHRS installed per the photos above but there are no other devices around it that might interfere with its operation. You would only need the MAG 236 if you cannot find a reliable location for the ADAHRS, which could also be in a wing.

If the SV-MAG-236 has the same footprint as the ADAHRS, you can stack it on top with the mounting bracket. That said, you should only install one or the other. If the 236 mag compass is installed, it will disable the ADAHRS internal mag compass.

I mounted both ADAHRS in the tail cone of my RV-7A using two pieces of extruded aluminum angle across the longerons. I used the Dynon mounting plate to stack the backup ADAHRS on the primary. You should be able to do the same with both devices you are installing.

The SV system, to my knowledge, has not security software or firewall to keep hackers out. Connecting it to the internet would be quite risky, IMO.
