    ADS-B FAA Compliance Report

Steve, You are correct. The equipment must be TSO'd and (IIRC) be installed by a certified shop, which means you'll spend way more than that $500 rebate to meet the requirements.

Radio-SV-COM-C25 -can't hear the standby frequency

Thanks for asking. I did not realize the Dynon radio had this dual capability. Sweet!

    Autopilot Setup

I flew my RV-7A for the first time last Friday and the auto-trim worked as advertised. Still tweaking the auto-pilot settings as it porpoises up and down rather than finding and holding an altitude.

    Compass ground calibration

The warning went away after performing the in-flight calibration. I do not recall hearing an alarm but had a high fuel warning while in flight that I could barely hear. Once back on the ground, I adjusted the volume in setup from 65 to 85 so I could hear them in flight.

    ADHARS Failure

I've had strange things similar, but not the same, happen on occasion. A reboot has always fixed it. I'm not worried about it...

    Dark Com Radio Screen

I recall reading here somewhere that Dynon does not recommend using two of their radios in a system.

    Compass ground calibration

I skipped the ground calibration and did it in the air on my 3rd flight. Also did the AOA calibration afterward.

    Remote USB panel mount

I have two (one for each side) from that work fine so far. Also installed this one (ECF504-AA) from L-Com in a RV-8.

    Skyview backup battery

Only a guess but I would think 9 to 10 volts would be failing since the display needs that or more to stay on.

    Aviation Data base

I seem to recall having to load the map update separately as well, even though I used method 1 for the update to 15.4.

    Fuel Levels Calibration

Yes. The difference is that the capactive sensor provides more accuracy when the tank has more than 15 gallons of fuel (so I've heard). The float type top out well before the tank is full, apparently. I would prefer the gauge read correctly in flight. Not terribly important when your feet are...

    Fuel Levels Calibration

Bummer, Don. I was going to go that route too but a friend said it is much easier to push the plane to the fuel pump with someone inside the plane while the person fulling carefully stops at each step. I hope to have it done in 30 minutes or less.

    Fuel Levels Calibration

I'll be calibrating mine this weekend as well. Hoping to fly the RV-7A in the next couple weeks (after transition training).

    Signposts

As noted in another thread, it cannot be disabled in the current version (15.4) but will be an option in an upcoming release.

    ADAHRS 200 inverted

Like Jake said. You have it oriented backward. The network connection should be facing aft per installation instructions.

    SV-AP-Panel

Correct. The AP panel only needs network for its power but auto-trim needs its own, if you plan to use it.

SV-ARINC-429 to GNS 430W Connection and Config

I re-read the instructions on pages 12-7 and 12-8 and it seems the Aviation setting is, indeed, on the Garmin side rather than the Dynon. Para 12-8 has all the Dynon side settings, though I am sure you've triple checked those by now. Does your 430W have version 5.x installed? I believe it is...

SV-ARINC-429 to GNS 430W Connection and Config

Can you confirm you have the Dynon EFIS set to Aviation? Also, some things in the EFIS require you to input a flight plan (direct-to someplace) to allow certain functions. I don't recall if the HSI is one.
