    SV-ADSB-470 now shipping!

    I haven't been keeping up on the Dynon ADS-B release. Anyone know why the new product is single channel only and not the other manufacturers are shipping dual channel units? I would be interested in the underlying reasons for this decision; what are the pros and cons of doing it this way...

    EMAG-P TACH Wring

    Dynon GPS fail

    Took off yesterday on a 30 min flight to nearby airport. The SV1000 reported that the "GPS POS1 FAIL" via the caution button. Sure enough no MAP, SYN VIS, or anything else GPS dependant. The PDF and ENG displays were normal. Since I had the iFy 720, I contiued to nearby airport. On restart...

    Skyview size 10" or 7"?

    I just upgraded to one SV 1000 after flying behind the D-180 and D-100 7" units for 5 years in my RV-9A. I can display all 3 screens (40% PDF, 40% Map and 20% EMS) on the SV1000 and my 66 year old eyes are more than adequate. Bigger is better. Dan

    RPM readings from P-Mags

    ColinG: I have the same setup on my 0-360 Lyc and a D-180. I ran the tach outputs directly from the P-Mag tach outputs to the D-180 tach inputs, no resisters. Works fine with ACS ignition switch. Dan.

    Would the orientation of the pressure sensor have any effect on the rotating arm thingy? I have mine mounted normally on Van's manifold in the horizontal position. Would rotating it a quarter turn have an effect? Dan
