How do you find out the issue and possibly affected unit serial numbers?

    Pitch and Roll error indication

Be sure you have the updated 3.2.2 software on both displays. The software updates do not sync and needs to be loaded on each display. I noticed a similar issue when I was updating my dual SkyViews. After screen 1 was updated, screen 2 was not locking in on heading and was scrolling approx 45...

    EMS Ammeter

I added a double pole switch and used only pins 24-25. I just switch to which one I want to read. -Mike Kraus

Thanks Dynon, that fixed it. Loaded screen 1 sensor and all files into screen 2. Works great again. -Mike

So what shall I try next? My 1 screen works fine, my 2nd does not. You me tioned something about settings importing and exporting?? -Mike Kraus

    2nd screen EMS issue

Dynon, tried what you said above a couple of times, but it did not fix the problem. I reset the tail number to DYNON on the display not detecting most of the EMS data. After the network config, it changed back to my tail number, but the display still doesn't detect the EMS data. It is...

    2nd screen EMS issue

Actually the AP was switched off for this picture. After I landed I rebooted and took this picture. I don't recall if it shows or not, but it still worked from the pilots side screen. I don't recall making any configuration changes between flights, just updated the nav data. I will try...

    2nd screen EMS issue

I have a 2 screen SkyView system, and one side stopped picking up some of the data today. The pilot side EMS works fine, the copilot side receives some inputs (fuel flow, rpm, tach, Hobbs) but nothing else. The rest of the instruments are X'ed out and say CFG.... I tried wiggling the...

    what's next

I would prefer audio alarms and engine monitoring data capture, features the D180 has had for many years. I am real disappointed these features have not been implemented on the SkyView. Personally I flight plan before I get to the airplane, so that feature is not high on my list. Saving...

    Autopilot Nav mode

I had the same problem with a 496 and my Tru Trak autopilot on my RV-4. I believe it is an issue with momentary losses of communication. I have not noticed it on my RV-10 with the Skyview and 696, but I typically fly it using the skyview GPS -Mike Kraus

    Serial data output

I too am disappointed that my D180 had engine data logging and my SkyView does not. I don't get it.... Even my Blue Mountain had engine logging data.... I'm just saying. -Mike

    3.2

I have a dual screen 10" setup. When I update the first screen, I get the same problem (red X over everything) everytime. Just update both screens, then reboot both systems and once they are both running the same software version you should be fine. At least that has been my experience. -Mike...

    Help on 3.2 update

You will need to load the software v3.2 on both screens separately. There are 4 other files (nav data, obstical data, sensor file, and the file with the borders on it) that you load one at a time and they will sync between screens if you have the Ethernet cable installed. Make sure you have...

    Tank change notification

I had that capability on my EI Fuel Flow system. You could set it to notify when each X number of gallons were used. It was a great feature! -Mike

    A/P Question

I changed altitude gain from 0.7 to 0.9. Didn't seem to make a difference. The rest is untouched from factory default settings. Let me know what you find or if you need more info. -Mike Kraus
