I think that the Autopilot Control Panel "LEVEL" button acts just like a separately installed LEVEL button: it engages the autopilot (if not already engaged) and levels (roll and pitch) the aircraft. it is on my list of stuff to try out on my Cessna 172 HDX panel in a few days.
Have you seen the Dynon Avionics YouTube Videos? There are a few on the HDX setup and functions. The Sectional is one of the choices of Map Layers--you can select Sectional, Topog, Low and High IFR, all from the Main Menu Page...
Is there an update to this post? I am planning the STC HDX along with the Garmin 650 for install in Cessna 172. Is the Dynon SV-COM approved yet? If not will the Garmin GTR225 transfer frequencies?
Seems like forever ago when I started out with version 1.0. It has always been somewhat of an issue with me trying to figure out where to find stuff in the manuals. Sometimes it isn't so obvious whether or not it is in the install manual or pilot manual. Even knowing which manual, it is...
In run-up area, I set heading and altitude bugs. When I begin my take-off roll, I hold the disconnect/release to engage button in. After lift off in a stabilized climb, I release the button. Plane turns to selected heading and climbs at set VS to preset altitude. I'm sure there are more ways...
Happened again today. Really distracting--especially while tracking a departure procedure. Yes I got an ok on my ADSB FAA Compliance Report on 10/3/15 attached.
Today, I got the shadow target (00 altitude right over me) for the whole flight from KSMX to KSZP. After Breakfast the exact same thing on the way back to KSMX. I have never had this problem for so long. Usually (once every 10-20 flt hrs, or so) the shadow target disappears quickly. I am up...
I pay Jeppesen $480 per year for NavData only for my GTN650. I pay SA $99 per year for US VFR+IFR Charts and Data. That works out to a total of $48 per month. Not cheap but I view it as a bare bones minimum for my purposes. I appreciate Dynon supplying so much of the data for free.

Thanks,

I still have that problem although Seattle Avionics has a fix which I tried without success. I'm waiting for the next update end of the month, with clean USB sticks to see if the new uploads work. Seattle Avionics did give me three months of downloads added to my subscription for free--Thanks...
I'm now getting shadow targets at 00 altitude--sometimes on me, sometimes on an intercept course, off my wing. They come and go. Please let me know how to get rid of this nuisance. Wasn't V14 supposed to help with this?
