New cycle began today, I was fine seeing that the database told me it expired on the 14th. I had the new database, since Dynon puts it up a few days early and updated the cycle. Yes they are on same FAA cycle. just expect the screens to reboot after the database update

Both my screens rebooted after loading the latest Databases. They never did this in the past. Also synchronization between screens took 2-3 minutes, maybe more, when in the past it was less than 1 minute. Is this expected with 13.0?

The probe is bad, just a coincidence, possibly, but it was going regardless of the upgrade. I have way too much experience in your symptoms with probes. I venture to guess that there is some new settings with the new EMS that changes more than "whats new" covered.

At what point should I be seeing terrain colors as being an issue on the Synvis? I see yellow on the MAP but there is nothing on the terrain on the Synvis. I have TERR ALERT enabled. Thx

there are two antennas for ADS-B 1) 2020 sky facing GPS 2) transponder type antenna facing ground. So if asking will this serve the ADS-B requirement for GPS, yes it will and no other GPS is needed.
